We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need- and more! From charcoal and all the grill tools, logs for the hot tube and sauna, to a great coffee machine and thoughtful touches throughout. The terrace was super cozy, surrounded by lush greenery, with plenty of different types of swings and places to unwind. At night, the starry sky was magical. It’s ideal for 3-5 people with plenty of space and clearly lots of love and care from the owners, both inside and out. The host even left us some sweet, delicious surprises that made us feel truly welcomed. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, making the most of the house and garden.Time flew by, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back again someday. Thank you for everything! Ja, bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich tatsächlich um das ausgebaute Dachgeschoss einer alten Scheune. Alles wurde mit viel Liebe gemacht und für jene, die mit der einfachen Ausstattung zurecht kommen, ist es ein Paradies. Wer Luxus sucht, sollte nicht hier gehen. Wer eine sehr ungewöhnliche Unterkunft sucht, die einfach, aber sauber ist und wirklich sehr, sehr originell – der ist hier richtig! Uns hat es extrem gut gefallen! Herzlichen Dank dafür.

A spacious and stylish house only a short drive from Valmiera. Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed it a lot. All communications and directions were clear and to the point, superb experience. Also, loved the easy access to the Gauja River - excellent for a quick refreshing swim.

We had a very pleasant stay at this accommodation. The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a small kitchenette with a kettle and fridge. The room was clean and tidy, which made the stay even more comfortable. It was also convenient to park the car right in front of the room. Taking the dog outside was easy as well, with plenty of space nearby for walks. The only unusual aspect of the stay was when, on the second day, a man arrived at the door to collect a dog fee, which hadn't been mentioned in advance. I had notified the host about bringing pets when I made the reservation, so this was a bit of a surprise. Otherwise, everything was great, and I would definitely recommend this place.

Очень хорошо отдохнули в доме у Валтерса. Очень красивый дом, все что нужно для отличного отдыха есть. Место тихое, у нас был замечательный караоке вечер. Есть спортивные площадки, но использовать не получилось(пол дня был дождь) Терраса у дома большая и вмещает всех без проблем. Мы очень рады побывать в таком месте, к тому же у этого места есть своя история длинною в несколько столетий.

Great Valmiera apartment in a prime location, spotlessly clean with thoughtful details—perfect for moving in. Only downside: 5th floor, no elevator, but the climb keeps you active. Highly recommended!
