Ideal location for walkers with the Beentee loop walk and Cnoc na dTobar pilgrim path close by.

Private lawn that leads down to the sea shore where seals can be seen on a daily basis bathing on the rocks on low tide. Enjoy your morning coffee while relaxing on the stone wall looking up the Fertha river or a stroll along the strand looking for clams for the afternoon tea. Located quarter of a mile from the Village of Portmagee where boats leave for the famous Skellig Rock

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

The big window in the sitting room overlooks the beach, Lighthouse, Beginish Island and beyond. It is the most wonderful place to be in good weather and the most fascinating in bad weather when you can watch big waves crashing onto the beach, the rugged shore and the rocks by the lighthouse - all while being cuddled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea!
