One of Irelands most westerly houses, an abundance of views and walks on the door step.

Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

Enjoy this STUDIO APT with lovely sea view conveniently located only 1 and a half miles from Dingle. Take a 3 minute walk to a local cove beach and come back to enjoy a cup of tea on the patio or relax by the fire. Beautiful countryside area with town only a few minutes drive away. Studio is on the backside of my cottage where I live. One queen bed in the main area and two single beds in a small low ceiling loft with railings open to below so no children under 5. Dogs require pre approval.

Close to the Blasket Island interpretive centre, and a short walk to island ferry. On Dingle Way walk, and near to surf and swimming beaches. Regular daily bus service to Dingle. A very special place.

Boat House on the Beach

The Boat House is located right on the beach (perfectly safe for kids) on the island of Valentia off the Southwest coast of Ireland. The big window in the sitting room overlooks the beach, Lighthouse, Beginish Island and beyond. It is the most wonderful place to be in good weather and the most fascinating in bad weather when you can watch big waves crashing onto the beach, the rugged shore and the rocks by the lighthouse - all while being cuddled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea!

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
