Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture. The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

This new 18x20 Alaska cabin is near McCarthy airport. Complete kitchen and tiled walk-in shower. The best view by far of Mt. Blackburn, Ice Fall, and the Kennicott Mine right from the deck. You won't want to get off the deck. We offer vehicle transportation during your visit for a small fee (gas). Usually $10 for two days. We offer breakfast and light lunches. Bottled water too.
