Wonderful place, we enjoyed ourselves and grateful for the flexibility with our additional requests! We were able to enjoy a family braai under complimentary great shelter provided!

The hosts could not have been more accommodating, fetched my daughter from the shuttle and dropped her there again. Well located, clean, safe and neat. Great stay would highly recommend.

We didn’t end up staying overnight because our flight was changed, but the room and the guest house were both charming and pleasantly quirky. We’d book to stay again if we find ourselves back in Johannesburg

Moholi is an exceptional host and his place is lovely. The location is just inside the Ficksburg border crossing, which made visiting friends in Leribe and Hlotse very easy. Moholi was attentive and engaging. He made sure the five of us had everything we could possibly need throughout our stay. Moholi went out of his way to facilitate our every request, (late night dinner arrangments, car repair & wash, refrigerating a large birthday cake, and even helping me find hand crafted cow bells!). Our rooms were perfect, great wi-fi, strong hot water; Moholi even managed to get us an in-room refrigerator and an extra single bed so that the 7 year old in our group had her own special space! The common room was cozy and lively. It provided a great space for relaxing and enjoying heartfelt and thoughtful conversations. The optional breakfast was delightful. I highly recommend reserving breakfast and dinner during your stay. As an Airbnb Superhost myself, I appreciate Moholi's 5 star experience.

Great accomodation not far from Airport. Really nice spacious rooms with all mod cons. Host's are great welcoming people. Communication was perfect and host's are very knowledgeable about suggestions for the local area. Good chef on site and a tasty breakfast is included as well. There is a gym and outside area. Also it is a very secure property. Great start to holiday in South Africa. Would definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam’s place. The location is great - it’s in a nice area of the city, close to many restaurants, etc. Sam was very kind and provided great recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and the room was clean and had everything I needed.

I was pleased to receive a room upgrade, complimentary free weekly laundry, and weekday cleaning services. Mornings were therapeutic: I’d start my day bird-watching in the garden with a cup of coffee, admire the fish in the pond, take a leisurely walk around the lush & safe suburb, enjoy a swim, and relax sunbathing—all before officially starting my day/tour. The property is well-maintained, making it ideal for long stays, short breaks, or weekend getaways. It’s perfect for solo travelers, couples, and families alike. We had a very good time there. My girlfriend really liked the place and even said she would always go there if we were back in Ladysmith. They even allowed us a late checkout, as we needed extra time to take care of some things. It was very thoughtful and considerate of them.
