Great place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. Close to the Gregory lake with amazing views. Harendra was very nice and attentive. We had problems with our cab and he offered to arrange a new cab for us and let us stay a bit longer in the property. We highly recommend you to stay here!

We travelled with our 3 year old daughter and had an exceptionally nice stay! We recommend it 100%. Stunning views, peaceful surroundings. Fantastic breakfasts served on the beautiful terrace. It’s even better than the pictures! The host family was extremely kind and helpful at all times. The house is located at walking distance to 9 Arch Bridge and about 15 min by tuk tuk/car from central Ella. It’s super easy to find transport and to get around. We will for sure cone back and enjoy this house and Ella! Thank you so much.

Incredibly kind host family. They were always helpful, gave us a ride into town and organized a scooter for us. We used the home stay to explore the Ella region. While Ella is super touristy, the town of the Airbnb is very genuine and we loved the hustle and bustle. It is a separate apartment with a separate entrance. You’ll have everything you need including 2 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and terrace overlooking the property.

My stay at this place by the water was simply & good. The natural sounds and the view of the temple create an peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxation. My host was fantastic!!!He speaks excellent English, gave me great tips, and even organized a full-day tour for me. He was patient, kind, and always helpful. The accommodation is slightly away from the tourist crowds—exactly what I was looking for. I stayed for two nights and was completely satisfied. The room had everything I needed, including a small balcony.

This was an amazing stay! I wish I stayed longer. The owners Asith and his wife have made a lovely piece of heaven in the mountains. The property and it's surrounding are a dream! The hosts are kind and made us a top notch breakfast. On top of that they are so accommodating and super hard working. There are some considerations when people choose to book, if you're bringing a mini van it's a bit tricky, but the owners make it work! But just keep in mind roads are narrow. They provide their tuk tuk to help as well.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Der Gastgeber hat uns sehr herzlich mit Tee empfangen. Er hat uns bei unseren Unternehmungen unterstütz und tolle Tipps gegeben. An einem Abend war wir zu müde um in die Stadt zu laufen, da hat er für uns ohne zu zögern Essen organisiert. Ich würde diese Unterkunft sofort wieder bucheb und kann sie von Herzen empfehlen.

Very simple room with bathroom, but beautiful view of the mountains and waterfall. No airconditioning, but that was no problem as it is cooler in the mountains and the room has a fan. Dawn also offered a great breakfast, would highly recommend staying here!

The highlight of the room is the mountain view, which makes it very charming. The room is clean, and the staff is very kind and attentive. Note: the location shown on Airbnb is not accurate — the property is actually a bit further up in the mountains.

Communication was great before & during our stay. Our time here was excellent. Magnificent views, comfortable living. Comfortable beds. Rooftop breakfasts a great way to start the day. Shan & JP were super helpful with recommendations and advice for Ella. Also arranged transport for us to local sites and offered to arrange our transfer to our next destination if we needed.

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und fuhren uns sogar für wenig Geld zu einem abgelegenen Wasserfall. Dort konnten wir schwimmen gehen und gut entspannen. Das Air BnB befindet sich in einer super Lage und die Stadt ist in maximal 5 Minuten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch bemerkenswert ist der Blick auf den vorbeifahrenden Zug. Das Zimmer an sich ist sehr Sauber übergeben worden und gut gepflegt. Leider ist es dort etwas feucht und etwas Schimmel setzt an den Wänden an. Insgesamt dennoch ein super Preisleistungsverhältnis und absolut ausreichend für ein bis zwei Nächte. Hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichen Gastgeber🙂

Amazing host and amazing place to stay. Lovely peaceful area but an nice walk to the centre. Incredible views from the porch, my partner and I sat a enjoyed for hours. Host is well prepared with recommendations and guides it made our stay extra special 😁
