Welcome to the pod! Only 2 miles from Stornoway ferry terminal and approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre, the pod is situated in front of my own home in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway. This is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over. Looking for a longer stay? Situated at the end of an 8 mile single track road off the NC500, it's perfect to explore the Highlands. Adventure, stunning views, silence and the elements, our cosy, romantic Bedstee has an intimate and nostalgic rustic feel. Created with love and attention to detail, we wish that you will experience a unique stay in a wonderful little crofting township. Dogs on leads are very welcome.

Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. The house is set in 100 acres of land including shoreline. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Per Mare Per Terram is a cosy cabin that boasts breath taking views of Loch Broom and the surrounding Munros. Standing alone at the top of Braes in Ullapool it has a wonderful cosy feeling when wrapped up inside, offering out of the way tranquillity whilst still being able to enjoy the amazing scenery no matter what the weather conditions. The cabin is equipped with a fridge, microwave,kettle, toaster and excellent wi-fi. It also has a shower room and modern composting toilet.

Peninsula Cottage /Pets welcome/No fees

Cute detached 1 bed cottage located on the Island of Lewis, in the fabulous Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Situated on the A866 in a quiet village through the ‘Point Peninsula’, a few minutes away from the famous Tiumpan Head for whale watching & only a 10-15 minute journey from Stornoway airport and ferry port. Ideally situated as a base for exploring the whole of the island whilst still close to the amenities in town.

You can enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the sea and cosy up in the evening beside the wood burning stove. Perfect for a couple getaway. Having your own car would be ideal but regular public transport is available on your doorstep.
