200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

We’ve lots of parking and a large garden - plenty of outdoor space for families. We are in the heart of Lecale; 3mi from Ardglass/Downpatrick and 5mi from Strangford Lough. A great base for enjoying nature, the mountains, golf, sailing, beach walks and sea swims.

Cara- Na-Mara is a beautiful, recently renovated 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the sea. Suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families. It's close to all area golf courses including Ardglass and Royal County Down. It is on Lecale Way for walkers and cyclists. There's easy access to the Mourne Mountains, beautiful coastal drives and Strangford Lough.

Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.
