Tanya and Peter were great hosts. They answered any questions we had and responded quickly. The area was quiet and home was private, it's exactly what we were looking for. Port Hope and Cobourg are very close by if you want to get out for a few hours and eat at a restaurant, get groceries, walk the streets and shop their downtown areas or just want to view the towns old buildings. We also made use of the fire pit on site and enjoyed that with a cup of tea. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone that just needs a break.

This place is wonderful. It was very well appointed. The lake is private and peaceful. There are large windows in the house overlooking looking the lake and a huge comfortable couch. The hottub is amazing bonus. The bedrooms were clean and well-designed. We will certainly be back!

Absolutely loved our stay at Denise’s place! A very chic and modern waterfront property in a great location with lots of privacy—an ideal spot to relax and unwind for our girls weekend. Very close to PEC which was a huge plus for us. Denise was so friendly and responsive all weekend long! The place had everything we needed, including bed linens, towels, and toiletries. The kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials and the dining and living area were so bright and clean with a gorgeous view of the water. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, and even though a fire ban was in effect, we saw lots of firewood on the property. Bedrooms were clean and spacious. We really loved our stay and cannot wait to return!

Miranda’s cottage was a great spot for our annual ATV trip. The cottage was very clean and as described. Having a sauna and the ability to swim in the lake was also nice. Look forward to returning to the cottage continuing.

This cottage was gorgeous, super spacious and really comfortable. The whole family agrees 5/5, which is a miracle, honestly. It was basically entirely private, not close to any of the neighbours. We saw deer out front one morning! Super well appointed kitchen, really comfortable beds, tons of space and separate seating areas. The lake was beautiful, although if you have really young kids the walk down to the water might not be great. Ours are 9 and 11, and it was no problem. We’re already browsing their other properties for next summer, although the family agrees that coming back here would also be great!

This beautifully appointed home was a perfect getaway. The peaceful lake with no cottages on the far side was clean and great for boating or swimming right off the dock. We enjoyed loons, herons, owls and a bunny. We hiked at Gould lake, swam, fished from the rowboat, had a campfire and watched stars from zero gravity chairs with no light pollution. A wonderful stay! Beautiful lake house!!! Very spacious!! A group of moms/friends had a fantastic night away and the lake house was perfect! The view from the deck was amazing! Steph was an excellent host! Very walkable into the town of Wellington!

James and Cathie’s place was exactly as described -it was clean, kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub was wonderfully relaxing and the view was stunning! We will for sure be back!

Excellent place! Beautiful setting, cozy, quiet and very clean with spectacular views. Perfect location for waterfront walking, downtown shopping and dining. We definitely Italy will be back.

Pam was terrific from the start - she was very responsive and helpful in all of our communication leading up to our stay. She was there to let us in and give us a tour of the space, but then she disappeared and left us to get settled in. The house has some great history and it is a 3 minute walk to the Main Street of a lovely village that is a great central location from which to explore the whole area. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and the bathroom was large and well equipped. There is a small sitting area that is fine for beginning and end of the day (no TV - which at first was a bit of a surprise, but we actually enjoyed not having that as a default to entertaining ourselves). Pam is an artist (very good) and a lot of her work is displayed in the space which enhances the area. An excellent value, comfortable space, lovely host.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay. Rebecca was kind, helpful and just a great person! Her place felt like an escape, on an island between 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦. The dock was just lovely. Will definitely be planning another stay

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

My mom and her husband stayed in Christina’s beautiful home. They had nothing but great things to say! It was super clean, peaceful, and the view from the balcony is breath taking. She made multiple comments on how comfy the bed was too; one of her best sleeps in a long time. Christina is super quick to respond and such a great host. I have stayed in Christina’s place in the past and knew it would be perfect for my mom’s stay. Looking forward to booking here again in the future.

My favourite place to stay for work in the area. Always spotless and clean. David is a wonderful host. Highly recommend.

There were a total of 5 families (9 adults and 2 kids ages 2.5 years and 1 year). We enjoyed the side by side cottages and that allowed for some separation of families with and without kids. Cottages were quite clean and modern with good amenities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There were watercrafts available for an additional (very reasonable) fee and we really enjoyed being on the water. We had easy access to the water. There were fire pits and hot tub, which we did not use. You’ll have to take the garbage out to the dump on your way out and there are pre-paid garbage tags. The process was easy and straightforward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Logement très mignon, bien décoré et magnifique vue, directement sur l’eau! L’hôte nous a bien conseillé sur les activités à faire dans les alentours. Le chalet est très bien situé, tout près du parc national de Sandbanks et des centre-villes de Picton et Wellington. Nous avons adoré notre séjour! La seule chose est qu’il n’y a pas d’air climatisée, il peut faire chaud la nuit malgré les ventilateurs.

It was great to be at this location. Hosts were very friendly and also allowed to check out late as we were bit late. This shows that this hosts is really very great and flexible with requested changes. Cottage was really so good. Kayaking , clean bedroom , washroom etc. Lake Jordan was great and amazing scenery. Would recommend to my friends and family as well.

Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

Had a great time with friends at Asanga’s place. It was clean, matched the description and Asanga was a very responsive host! Only minor thing was that the price of the hot tub was not included in the price I paid while booking even though it was listed as an amenity when we did so. Still worth 5 stars, but slightly misleading to have to learn I had to pay more later in order for us to use the listen amenity.

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

Stayed in early spring. Lots of books, games, movies to entertain. Internet was fast and reliable. Wood stove kept the cottage cozy. To cold to swim etc. Parents with small children be aware the path to the lake is steep with no railing. Overall loved the stay. Planning another in the fall.
