It is a great place to serve as a base for outdoor adventure and centrally located. Located in a new development less than 2 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 min. from downtown Blowing Rock, and 10 minutes from downtown Boone. There is a 0.7 mile loop to take in the fresh air surrounded by pine trees and beautiful views of Grandfather Mtn.

Secluded by rhododendrons, our cabin is a quiet mountain retreat convenient to dozens of trails and waterways along the famously picturesque Blue Ridge Parkway. Downtown Boone, bustling with restaurants, breweries, and college life, as well as the quaint downtown of Blowing Rock are also just 10 minutes away. Ski and snowboard in the Winter; hike, kayak, and swim in Spring and Summer; leaf peep in the Fall. Or, just enjoy a little peace and quiet as you relax on one of the cabin porches.

Payne Branch River retreat (A) is nestled on eleven acres of privately owned riverfront property in Blowing Rock, NC. The New River runs directly in front of the property and provided unique access to pristine, hatchery supported trout fishing. We are ten minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain and two miles from downtown Boone with easy access to 321. This retreat is the perfect getaway for exploring all the High Country has to offer. **Primary renter must be at least 25 years old

Cozy tent with electric heat and AC. Double-layered, all-season 16'x16', by a waterfall near Boone Gorge Park. Only three minutes from Boone, yet away from it all. Minutes to App Ski Mtn, Tweetsie, and fishing. Port-a-john close by for bathroom. Shower hut with hot water basin when temperatures are above freezing. Rec center nearby. Firepit, complimentary firewood, picnic area, firewood, water, WiFi and electricity. Additional firewood and homemade cinnamon rolls available.

Secluded Mountain Sanctuary

Cozy mountain home, conveniently located on a quiet street between downtown Boone and Blowing Rock. Three bedrooms (two upstairs and one downstairs), one full and one-half bath, spacious and airy living room with double doors leading onto the wrap around deck, and a fully functional kitchen, cookware provided. Clean linens also provided. There are deer in the area, so on your drive up to the house, be mindful of Bambi and his mother. AWD vehicle recommended in the snow.
