Tugela River Lodge: Rapids Cottage with Hot Tub

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. The sounds of the river are sure to put you to sleep at night!

Vista Road Farm Cottage

Relax with the whole family on this working farm nestled in the bends of the Mooi River. Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and overlook the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

One bedroomed cottage-private beach access.

My cottage is situated on the beach and is close to all amenities. 5 minutes by car to the CBD of Ballito and close to the airport. You’ll love my place because of the direct access onto the beach and I am situated above the famous Thompsons Bay Tidal pool.. My place is good for couples and business travelers. It is not suitable for small children under 5 . We also have a big dog that is very friendly but can occasionally bark. VIP Students over the Rage festival are not allowed.

Aloe house Snowdon accommodation

The Aloe house is a completely solar powered house which will not be affected by the load shedding whatsoever. You have a spectacular view of the Malungane mountain from every room of the house with its ceiling to floor glass sliding doors. their is a large fire place in the main living room to make fires during those crisp winter nights. in winter the cows calve right outside the house which can be a great insight into the farm life. sunsets over the entire Drakensberg range.

Romantic Rondawel on the forest's edge

This Bush Lodge styled cottage is only 3km away from Midmar Dam Resort and is geared for a relaxing stay. Privately positioned inside an enormous, well established Midlands Garden, it shares a boundary with River Goose Estate. The verandah overlooks sweeping lawns, with a braai area set under the African sky. The king bed is comfortable and the shower pressure is excellent. Guests have access to walks in the garden, the swings, an outdoor massage table and outdoor shower.

A hop, skip and a jump off the N3, situated in in the Van Reenen Eco Village Precinct. Down the road from the little church tea garden. A great one night stop off. Breakfast at the Tea Garden (not included) or take a early morning walk before continuing with your journey. Dinner can be booked in advance. Safe and convenient for single female travelers with manager living next door. No charge for children/elderly parent sleeping on lounge bed if accompanied by both parents.

If you’re needing a break from the hustle and bustle look no further than the tranquility found at Figtree Cottage! The cottage offers a large bedroom with a walk in shower en-suite. There is a small deck area off the bedroom and the living room which has an outdoor jacuzzi. Enjoy a warm jacuzzi under the stars.

Located in picturesque Currys Post, 180* at Mission House is a charming studio/cottage surrounded by breathtaking views of the Drakensberg Mountains. This cottage is secluded and cozy, with expansive views and outlook. Light, spacious and airy, it is comfortably furnished with everything you'd need for a weekend away in the beautiful KZN Midlands. Mission House is in the heart of the Midlands Meander route, and only a short distance from the N3.

Rosie’s Place Zinkwazi Beach

Our beautiful home is close to the beach, spacious living and large entertainment area with great views. Home away from home . A place to seriously relax and (URL HIDDEN) place is good for couples and families (with kids). The swimming pool can be netted if needed and there is wheelchair access to all areas of the house. There is a solar powered inverter and back up water tanks on the property so load shedding is not a problem.

Our house is close to the Central Drakensberg and 5km outside of Winterton. You’ll love panoramic view of the Drakensberg. A fireplace and an entertainment area with a pool and table tennis table. Patio with braai facilities. A pool and deck. There is walk to the dam or river on the property. 3 garages. Our house is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.
