We had the pleasure to stay for the month of August. Great location overlooking a lake, just a short walk to a small quiet beach on the ocean. An old railway track converted to biking/walking path close by. Close to groceries and restaurants. Great location for day trips to Peggy’s cove/Halifax boardwalk/many parks and beaches. The home had everything you need. Just bring your swim trunks and spirit of adventure. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely spot.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Mark and Mary Ellen's. They were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The cottage was equipped with literally everything you could think of to make yourself right at home. The kids LOVED exploring the beach each day or just playing in the yard and the hot tub. The trip to Charlottetown was very close and we were able to explore downtown and enjoy plenty of great seafood spots. Thank you so much for a great vacation!!

Wonderful relaxing place for the 2 of us. Tubs and Hot tub are extremely nice. Room for 6. We cooked, grilled, and relaxed. It was a perfect place to stay for us. 2 bathrooms, but only 1 shower. Something for a larger group to be aware of.

We Had a family reunion “staycation”!! This Was a perfect spot. Open space for the play pen and baby toys! Beautiful view & yard. We brought our own groceries and stayed in. The kitchen was very workable and had all the kitchen tools we could have needed. The wood stove was such a relaxing mood setter. The outdoor hot tub was lovely! (2 ppl) The deck was perfect for enjoying the outdoors with babies! Host had loads of little fine touches. Washer & dryer worked great! Parking was good, right next to the door and no stairs needed. Felt right at home and very comfortable! This is a perfect location of longer stays!

Everything that you could have possibly needed was available. Close to a small little town that had restaurants, grocery store etc. The views in and around the cottage were spectacular

Great spot , quiet and peaceful. Very cute and clean, the hot tub was just perfect. Would definitely recommend. Took my daughter and friends for her birthday celebration and they really enjoyed it! Thanks again

Marvellous start of our 5+ weeks Nova Scotia - Newfoundland tour. Lovely apartment with outstanding view located directly at the beach.

We had an incredible stay. We have already started discussing rebooking this every year moving forward now.

I had a relaxing couple of days at Annes place, the house was as described in the advertisement and had everything you would need for a stay. Close by to local restaurants/ shops giving you different options during your stay.

Most of what I'm saying is echoing what other Guests have said - it's all still true for 2024: Morry is great to work with, cottage is clean and well-equipped,  the views here are wonderful, beds are comfy and the layout worked well for us with the two main floor bedrooms on opposite sides.  The kitchen is a good size and the two full bathrooms are like new. There's a great hike trailhead a stone's throw away and, if you haven't already, you will fall in love with Prospect, NS!!

Gerry was very communicative leading up to, and throughout the stay. Super cosy place, everything as described, walking distance to everything in the city. Many shops/restaurants just around the corner. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks!

My wife, friends and I had a great time in Nova Scotia and Candace's location was perfect for us.

Marilyn’s home is clean and cozy. The beds were super comfy. And the view of the city is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

We always feel at home in Angela’s flat. Can’t think of a thing that has ever been lacking to make our visit completely comfortable. We love the neighbourhood which is remarkably quiet, especially considering how close it is to restaurants, public transit and downtown. Looking forward to our next stay!

We're really enjoyed our stay at Jill's cottage with our 2 dogs! It is really walkable to town shops & restaurants, while feeling somewhat private. This does make it a bit tricky to find the street since it looks like a driveway, but once you find it there's no missing it. The area is quiet enough that we saw deer several times in the evenings. The place itself has what you need - we got by making dinner with the small appliances available (fridge, hotplate, toaster oven, microwave). We noticed a few things weren't stocked such as cooking oil and body soap/wash for the shower, and there was only enough aluminum foil for one small tray in the toaster oven, and one tiny frying pan (a few pots of different sizes, though). We got by just fine and can't complain too much for the price! Especially because the bed was very comfortable & there were plenty of pillows, always a plus. Most patios in the area are dog-friendly (Saltbox Brewery allows them inside as well). Thanks for a great stay!!

Lovely accomodation. Peaceful, clean, and spacious with well-thought-out kitchen, furnishings and amenities. A must stay while visiting this beautiful corner of the world.

We had a great stay at Valerie’s. A perfect location to spend time with friends off the grid. The home is spacious with everything you would need. We had 11 adults there comfortably. Valerie was quick to respond with any questions we had. We hope to be back!

PAM &J.P on été extraordinaires. Nous avons été ravis par notre séjour et sommes tombés en amour avec la Nouvelle-Ecosse. Les animaux étaient un extra inattendus. Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden!
