Fisherman's House - a boat ride from Lisbon

We recently recovered an old ruin in Trafaria, right by the Tejo river, with the help of Lisbon Architect Inês Brandão. The scenic Belém district lies just across the river, a short beautiful boat ride away. Stunning views and a quiet house with a private garden make this a prime location to enjoy the city of Lisbon, Trafaria's famous sea-food and fish restaurants on the river side, and the amazing coast of Caparica, a long sand beach that stretches over more than 20 km along the Atlantic ocean.

The Pool Pavilion is a cosy and relaxed two suites and kitchen space that overlooks a lush garden and is the ideal choice for a joyful and relaxing getaway. Appointed to a high standard with simple yet sophisticated materials, such as micro cement flooring , stucco walls and linen curtains, and decorated in soothing natural colours, it blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Large patio doors lead out onto a spacious, private garden with wood decking, a heated pool, sun loungers and table.

Come to relax with the whole family in the newly renovated apartment with an ocean view. This 1st floor apartment is situated in the quiet neighborhood "Pera de Baixo" and accessible through a separate entrance. Enjoy the beautiful beaches of Costa da Caparica within 5 minutes and the center of Lisbon within 20. The apartment is fully equipped, has fast WIFI and an active Netflix account. It has 2 double beds which off one can be separated into 2 single beds as well as a crib for the baby.

Stay in a unique apartment in the historic center of Lisbon. You'll be 5 minutes away from shops and restaurants, but staying in a quiet street. I value the connection to the city a local host provides. I greet most of my guests in person. If I can't be present, you'll be greeted by a close friend who is also a Lisbon native. We are 10 min away from the center on foot through the beach or 2 min by train. In the center you find laundries, supermarkets, pharmacies, health centers, restaurants, etc. You can rent a bicycle or a car and take a tour. We are about 20 min from Lisbon and from the airport and about 15 min from the Hospital by car.

Our place is literally steps away from the most frequented beach & surf (2 min walking) while Lisbon downtown is a 30 min (20 Km) drive with moderate traffic.
