We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Furataka's place! He was always communicative and made sure we felt right at home by checking us in to the house in person. The house itself is a very tasteful old Japanese house with all the amenities you might need, including AC/heating in each of the rooms. Also, you won't be starved for entertainment with Japanese TV and a set of Mahjong to keep you entertained.

YADO Whole House (Arty Renovated Traditional Home)

Tiny House. Loft& Log house in Okayama
This was by far our favourite place to stay throughout our trip to Japan. Boo was the most attentive host I've ever had, and she was extremely friendly and assisted us with getting a taxi on our way out. The log house was wonderful and provided everything you needed. It also had a very quiet and homely atmosphere. It's a steep walk from the station, so I'd recommend taking a taxi; but, the journey was well worth it. I would 100% suggest it to anyone looking for a quiet place to recharge; we only wish we could have stayed longer because we enjoyed the space so much. It was also conveniently located near Okayama's centre district. A hearty thank you to Boo and her family; we will definitely return on our next vacation to Japan.

ãTeshima è±å³¶ ãKurechanãhouse (tatami bedroom)
Kureishi is an amazing host. He took very good care of us and has made our stay on Teshima a memorable experience. He waited for us in the port and then made a little tour of the port town from the car. He reserved nice electric bikes for us, even though the bike shop was closed. Then explained to us everything about the island, what to look out for, where to go and not go, which restaurants are open, basically everything we needed to know. In the evening when we officially checked-in he brought us some welcome drinks and snacks and explained everything about the house. The house itself is an old style Japanese house. You sleep in a tatami floor room on a mattress bed. It can get a bit cold, but we had some heaters on which made the rooms warmer. The bathroom features a big cauldron for a special old Japanese bath, but we actually didn't use it. In the morning Kureishi made us an amazing breakfast and afterwards drove to our ferry. Kureishi, you are the best! DÅmo arigatÅgozaimasu

Private, Comfortable, Traditional Japanese House
We had a wonderful time at Yoriko's house. Yoriko was an amazing host. The house was very comfortable, well equipped and had very generous breakfast ingredients, including ingredients for home made bread. Yoriko very kindly booked restaurants for us and gave us lots of tips in what to do. The house is within walking distance of the town centre. We enjoyed a hike up mount Bizen, and drove to temple 13 and walked from there to temples 14 and 15. We also visited The Naruto whirlpool. Great place to spend a few days. Wish we had more time.

We had a fantastic stay at Otonari's apartment. It's well located, with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby but the apartment is in a quiet side-street so we had no problems with noise disturbance. The apartment is exactly as described and photographed in the listing - it's a charming space full of warm touches and helpful instructions for all the useful amenities. We loved staying here and would definitely choose it again when in Takamatsu!

We had a great stay. The apartment is well equipped, quiet and comfortable. The nearby Korakuen park, just a 5 minute walk away, is one of the 3 most beautiful in Japan. The local sushi restaurant is not to be missed, it's quite the gem and the pastry shop also does great takeaway coffee. All in all a perfect stay. Thank you Mari.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gen's place. The apartment was spacious, spotless and well equipped. The location was excellent with lots of food options just around the corner and interesting shops and cafes nearby. It was easy to catch a bus to the ferry port and nice to have Ritsurin Gardens nearby for a stroll. The carspace was a bonus as we rented a car for part of our visit. Highly recommend!

Un posto ben situato, molto pratico, a pochi minuti a piedi sia dal porto ( traghetti per le isole) che dalla stazione Uno (ottimo per treni e bus). La casa era pulitissima e spaziosa. Tutti i comfort indicati câerano. Si sta molto bene in casa, in quanto câÚ davvero molto spazio e la casa Ú luminosa, nonostante lâarredo minimale. Consiglio volentieri sia il posto che anche Enzo come Host.
