Oak Dene Historic House Accommodation

Oak Dene is a unique and historic building. It was built in 1908 for Dr and Mrs John Wight as a family home and surgery by his eminent architect brother, Gerard Wight. Our Edwardian features on the exterior are complemented inside with modern features. It comfortably fits 4 people comprising of 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, bedroom 2 has 2 long singles beds, ideal for adults or children. Situated only 100 metres from the Main Street, gives you easy access to shops, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets. Bishop Townhouse & Clements House (next door) were built by Mr Bishop in 1904 for Mr Clements to accommodate tenants.

Mary Ann Road Garden Cottage is a self-contained, one bedroom cabin, looking onto the garden trees and flower beds of our semi-rural property on the edge of Echuca. While perfectly suited for couples or single travellers, the cottage is unsuitable for people travelling with pets. Only 8 minutes’ drive from the centre of Echuca, everything is within comfortable reach; but you’ll sleep in the country peace and quiet and probably wake to the sound of birdsong.
