Hillside Terrace Room, Inn at Taughannock Hotel

This cozy 215 square foot queen bedded room is located in the Hillside House on the first floor. It features a pillowtop mattress with plush bedding, Carrera marble floor bathroom with walk-in shower, Beekman 1802 bath product line made fresh in upstate NY, flat-screen television, Keurig, hairdryer, telephone, complimentary Wi-Fi, and access to a complimentary self-service laundry facility in Edgewood. There is not a view of the lake or pond. Non-pet-friendly accommodation.

Smith Corona Room

Groton was once known as the “Typewriter Capital of the World.” This typewriter manufacturing company became Smith Corona Marchant in later years and closed manufacturing in Groton in the 1980s. This second floor 350 sq foot room features a king size bed, 32” flatscreen tv, gas fireplace, a large balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds and a jetted tub.

Thatcher David. Queen Suite garden view w/ spa tub

The Thatcher David is our most eclectic queen room. Complete with a Mackenzie-Childs canopy rooster bed and all of these other wonderful features; see-through gas fireplace, swing arm 43" flat screen Smart TV , Jacuzzi bath tub, private bath, and air-conditioning. Spend a soothing night soaking away the day’s worries with a warm fireplace at your feet!
