Tiny Cottage of Whittington

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Reconnect with nature at our unique treehouse Aframe stay near ALL of the hiking. Just minutes from downtown Marion, IL. Sporting a 7ft tube slide, sleek black exterior and natural wood tones and lighting. The Blonde is small and mighty with an airy studio feel but packed with all of the necessities of a full sized home. This stay also includes its very own nature trail! Come ready to see lots of wildlife and explore Southern Illinois! Our 2 treehouses are secluded but do share a property!

LilyPad-pondside cabin, kayaks, trail, country

Great for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes use of kayaks, fishing poles for the catch & release pond, and a walking trail. Bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood. PLEASE NOTE: its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin sized foam couch sleeper. We don't allow pets.

Experience a relaxing getaway in this unique studio. Enjoy swinging on the porch while sipping coffee and watching the sunrise. Listen to the birds and watch the horses, sheep and donkey grazing in the field. You are welcome to take walks around the property and fish in the pond. We are in an Amish community with horse and buggy’s traveling up and down the road. This is the perfect place to escape from city or just a getaway to relax and unwind.

Nestled on our family farm, you may catch glimpses of our daily tasks like baling hay, caring for cattle, or milking goats.

Relax in this spacious 3,000 sq. ft. home set on 5 peaceful acres near Galatia & Thompsonville. With 4 bedrooms, 2 pullout couches, and a private hot tub, it’s perfect for family gatherings or quiet retreats. Enjoy fishing in the shared pond (keep only what you eat), explore the countryside, or unwind indoors. A separate lodge on the property is also available for larger groups.

Sweet Peas Bungalow

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful bungalow. Centrally located between Marion and Carbondale. Enjoy outdoor activities with a scenic drive to Crab Orchard and Fern Cliff. And just 15 miles away from the ever popular Wine Trail of Southern Illinois. Take a short five minute drive to Walkers Bluff Casino and Resorts.

The Little White Farmhouse (No longer allow pets)

Welcome to the farm. Step back in time in this little white four room farm house. Enjoy the farm animals. Watch the wildlife off the back porch. Go fishing in the pond just outside your back door. Enjoy a bonfire or lay in the hammock on a lazy after noon under the old Maple tree. NOTE: we no longer allow pets.

Relax with the whole family or with friends in this beautiful country home. Located just 15 minutes from Rend Lake. Barn located on the property to plug your boat in or park vehicles. Enjoy the quiet country atmosphere while fishing on the pond or sitting outside on the patio.
