We love Winston's because they always have an amazing array of local beers and liquors, and the staff is super sweet. Plus, they have a tasty grilled chicken sandwich and great chicken tenders. There's a huge patio space out back that's perfect on a cool evening or a sunny day!

We love NOMA and the Sculpture Garden attached to it. There's a diverse range of art, including an entire room devoted to Faberge eggs, plus a rotating exhibit of really interesting art. The Sculpture Garden is free and a great place to just be for a while. NOMA is located inside of City Park, the largest park in the city with nice views and a great running path. Right next door is Morning Call in the Park, for coffee and donuts (aka, cafe au lait and beignets, a New Orleans staple!).
