Ben Nevis is the highest point in the UK. It looks stunning on a sunny day and the views are outstanding. Climbing it should be done with plenty preparation. Don't underestimate how difficult it can be and weather changes quickly so please climb it with care.

Climb the UK's highest mountain. This is a 16km round trip climbing to a height of 1345m (4413ft). To begin with the path is relatively easy but becomes increasing arduous and exposed. The walk will take 6-8 hours to complete. The weather can be very changeable and the summit temperature can be 10degC lower than at the base of the mountain. There is often poor visibility at the summit with steep dangerous 610m (2000ft) cliffs on the NE face. On a good day the views are dramatic.

The highest UK mountain. Hike up, often with hundreds of others on the day, and tick that iconic 'Munro' of your 'Must-do-when-in-the-Highlands' list. Beware and be well prepared – The weather can change rapidly during your climb and the snow falling in summer is not that unusual!

The highest mountain in the UK - well worth climbing it but make sure you have checked the weather, that you've got your sensible footwear on and layers of clothing with waterproof jacket and some food to munch on the way.
