The Town Hall is community run. The cafe has the best terrace in town, right by the side of the river. They serve a decent, cheap filter coffee/tea, excellent cakes and sandwiches in the daytime.

Community owned Town Hall in the heart of Hebden Bridge. It offers a host of community activities, Art & Historical Exhibitions, a cafe and regular events including the Arts Festival, Happy Valley Pride, Talks, Vintage / Craft / Art Fairs and Gigs. You are welcome to go in on any day and see what is on during your stay in Hebden Bridge.

The Book Case on Market Street is a local independent book retailer that stocks local guides, maps and publications from the local history society.
