I like to take young actors to this colorful, bare-bones Silver Lake spot where Kris Yenbamroong is making out-of-the-box Thai street food cool by giving it a fresh spin. He does it so well that Food & Wine named him Best New Chef. I love the Northern-style larb and the Bangkok Mall Pasta, basically spicy Thai-style spaghetti with salt and fish. It’s always crowded and it’s waitlist only, so get there early or be ready to have a couple rounds while you wait.
Really great authentic Thai Food, made fresh. Tends to be on the spicy side! Amazing Tofu-Larb dish! Limited vegetarian options though. They deliver!
Don't use delivery service, call straight in to order- they're super nice and it'll save you a bunch of money on the prices & delivery. It's a quick drive, and they offer very decently poured & priced "little sips" of wine you can enjoy while you wait. A quick drive to pick up, recommend the khao…
Authentic thai food that is a staple in LA. Right now they are doing takeout only.
Very cute and very tasty! Be prepared to wait in a bit of a line, but you won’t regret it!
“A few miles away in Silverlake near the Sunset Junction is one of our favorite places to eat dumplings or noodles or pan fried pork buns. ”
“Personally, I think it's the best restaurant in Silver Lake. It's intimate and perfect for a date night. Not great for groups.”
“Another great atmosphere! Decent French restaurant, but we go for the drinks and atmosphere. Make reservations because it gets very busy! You can always grab a pre dinner drink whether dinner is there or not and the bar is a bit hidden and has a different entrance.”
“if you love ramen this is the go to spot, it's in Silverlake so about 30min from Chatsworth but worth it”
“Upstairs is one of the best places in the area to have a drink and a snack with friends. Downstairs is a great restaurant with some outdoor seating. Very close to Silverlake reservoir for a walk afterwards. Next to Milk for ice cream...”
