Elly’s is my go to breakfast spot! Just jump on the ohare blue line and get off at Jefferson Park
Elly’s is our personal favorite local spot for breakfast/brunch but their lunch menu is equally delicious. Contemporary atmosphere and good service. Very wide menu selection.

Chain eatery serving breakfast & sandwiches in an informal, contemporary atmosphere.
“Palestinian food and some of the best Middle Eastern bites you'll ever have - falafel is light and crispy. Delicious all around. A neighborhood favorite for take out. Pleasant, but not fancy dine in.”
“Café Marbella Tapas stands out on a stretch of Milwaukee Avenue in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. This old-world tapas spot is housed in a Mediterranean-styled building with sweeping brick arches and a Spanish-tiled roof. Inside you will find a great selection of savory tapas and fish that will have you dreaming of the Mediterranean.”
“Excellent bar with a diverse beer selection on tap and a very good food menu. They have an awesome rooftop that opens up in the spring/summer.”
“If you are in town in September, you should check out the very popular and festive Taste of Polonia celebration. In short, this dynamic festival is certainly worth the time. This festival is one of Chicago's biggest and is worth the trip! Held in the Copernicus Cultural and Civic Center in Jefferson Park, this four day celebration covers all things of Polish heritage and includes everything from food to artwork. Tens of thousands of people usually attend the event every year making it quite an interesting side trip for any visit to Chicago.”
