Massive dining room and amazing food! I was hesitant to try this place because of some preconceived notions about German food, but I was impressed with the variety and skill! They go way beyond the usual schnitzel if you get my drift! Dress nice. This isn't Oktoberfest.

German tapas and beers! Go for the seared scallops and seafood risotto - you may want to order two, its hard to share, its so yummy.

The ambience at Affäre offers the opportunity for an elegant evening out, as well as a great place for friends to get together in a casual setting. If you haven't dined in their tranquil courtyard you must! It's one of the most beautiful spots for outdoor dining in Kansas City! I really love the Black Forrest Cake and Hackepeter (Steak Tartar). Can't get enough.

This is a really unique find in the Crossroads. The chef is so imaginative and the food is incredible. The wine selection is fantastic. A perfect place for dinner or brunch. They even have a hidden courtyard with live jazz on Saturdays and Sundays. We highly recommend this place for innovative cuisine with a twist.
