Popular and highly visited since being discovered in the 1800s, it is easily accessible just off Hwy 189 with parking lots either adjacent to the Falls or a little further west at Bridal Veils Park. Provo River Parkway is a paved trail making the falls a simple hike or bike ride away. Provo River, which runs alongside the trail, provides a cooling mist in the summer and a spectacular sight in the winter. Water from the giant waterfall drops into a shallow pond before tumbling into Provo River. Children and adults young at heart can be found frolicking in the water nearly every summer afternoon. Many adventuresome visitors climb the boulders to explore behind the lower waterfall and get a good soaking. There is also a hiking trail that climbs it's way to the lower falls. Remember that it is wet and slippery near the falls. Bridal Veil Falls is not a site to be missed. It is a place of beauty and serenity, and comes with a native legend that gives the falls a poetic touch you can't help but be smitten with. For more details about the legend, look up the legend of Norita and Grey Eagle Birdal Veil Falls.
