ピア４１からフェリーでおよそ１５分で到着するのが、フィッシャーマンズワーフからでも見えるアルカトラズ島。もともと１９６３年までは連邦刑務所で、マフィアの帝王あるカポネやマシンガンケリーなどが投獄されていた。島内は音声ガイドを聴きながら回れる。日本語のガイドも用意されている。フェリーは混雑するので、早めに予約した方が良い。

Make reservations EARLY , it sells out quickly. It includes a nice boat ride out onto Bay. There are also night tours.
