Even if the weather was bone chilling, the place was warm and nice. The complete absence of internet and TV, though an irritant in the beginning, was a blessing as we played a lot of board games and had quality time. The place could do with some upgrade. Mirror in the washroom, better quality coffee mugs, more and better towels. But the location, cabin like feel of the plade and the friendliness of Frank made up for it all Great things to do around, decent restaurants within 15 minutes of the place and scenic beauty ofvthe area were added values. A good place to spend some R&R.

My friends and I came up to Wasaga for a weekend and had so much fun! The air BnB had great kitchen amenities, rooms and was overall a lovely place ! The hosts were quick with their responses which I appreciates very much! Would love to come back, highly recommend.

If you need to get away from the city this is the place to experience peace and serenity! The view/location of the lake was just amazing! House was very homey and cozy. My kids loved the rocks by the shoreline, they didn't want to leave. Would definitely go back!

Alexandra was the perfect host. Very responsive, considered and even accommodated to all the needs we had. she allowed us to have a beautiful gathering with some extra friends that came for a celebration of our engagement (not staying at night). It was a lovely place, full of small details that enriched our experience, highly recommend this place.

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

Un accès par l’arrière face à l’eau serait encore plus merveilleux et un bbq également pour pouvoir profiter au maximum de la vue magnifique. Je remercie James pour son accueil il est très sympathique et surtout le lieu a bcp d’histoire qui rend le séjour encore plus fantastique. La douche extérieur apporte un charme à l’endroit. Le seul petit bémol est l’eau qui est très faible et non potable. Merci encore et à une prochaine fois c’est certain 😍😍😍

My stay at Bakraam’s place was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized. The home was spotless, cozy, and just as described—if not better! Being so close to the beach and nearby attractions made the location perfect for both relaxation and exploring. Bakraam was an exceptional host. He personally checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and even helped us arrange the BBQ, which made our stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, he went out of his way to shovel the snow, ensuring the area was safe and hazard-free—such a thoughtful touch! I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with a top-notch host, this is the place to book. I’ll definitely be returning

Idyllic gem on Georgian bay. Perfect for a small family getaway by the lake. The resort pool is a big plus for the kids. Beautiful surroundings and stunning sunsets. Jefferson is a great host. Very friendly and responsive. He kindly accommodated our request.

The apartment is presented well in the photos. We loved our stay and the access to the lake and pool. Homeowner was quick to respond by sms. It’s important to know that the “third” bedroom is an open loft space, doesn’t work if you need a 3rd room with a bed and a door and all that but does work if you know what to expect. We were not provided enough towels or any hand towels, in a place with 3 bathrooms. We did find that a bit odd. Either than that great stay.

Lovely stay! The location is gorgeous. Such a privilege to be able to wander down to the beach any time. The area was very quiet. Water shoes are definitely needed if you want to swim. The cottage is equipped with the basics and the fans keep it cool enough on the extra hot days. Thanks for opening your home to us!

Great place, clean, spacious, the TV options were great when we hung around at the house. Jeff was very communicative, and he left great instructions in the house for the TV, wifi, washrooms. The location is quiet but only minutes away from Walmart, numerous fast food restaurants and coffee shops, and the Georgian Mall. I would stay again if I come back to Barrie.

Tammy’s place was such a fantastic stay for our family vacation with every single detail covered - we had everything we needed and more. Tammy goes above and beyond ensuring her guests are comfortable from the second they step into her place. She has an open line of communication and the small details upon arrival make it feel extra special. A great cottage located on a bay, overlooking a beautiful sandy beach, great for kids and a shallow lake to walk in. And so close to town. Considering time of year, we expected there to be a bit of beach weeds near the shore, but a few feet out the water was crystal clear - and warm. The newly renovated washroom and kitchen are an incredible addition and made our stay that much more comfortable. Lots of places to sit, eat, and enjoy each others company inside and out. We would love to come back here in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this picturesque, private getaway! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We had all the amenities we needed, and everything was clean and tidy. We loved the dock, paddle boating, hiking around the lake, building a campfire and seeing the horses. It was the perfect place to relax in nature. Would definitely recommend to others, and we hope to be back again.

House was just as described. We all loved the place, and Amanda was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely visit again.

We stayed at Duke’s beach house at the end of September for 3 nights. I can see how this place would be an excellent getaway during nice weather, as the yard has a nice fire pit lots of kid toys, and plenty of seating. The beach is just a stones throw from the cottage, and extremely beautiful. Unfortunately, we were there during quite a bit of rainy weather so we didn’t enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have liked, however the inside was comfortable, and had everything we needed for a staycation. There were even toys for our 1 year old daughter to enjoy. The place is a little rustic, so it’s not a place you should go to if you aren’t okay with roughing it a little (as they try to conserve water as much as possible). There is however a fully equipped kitchen, TV, games, etc. Over all, we enjoyed our stay! We would love to go back, hopefully during some nicer weather!

Stunning sunsets , gorgeous home with such beautiful decor. Not crowded or full of “Nick nacks “. Host was always available for questions. Hot tub was so relaxing . So much space for everyone to enjoy

Our family had a wonderful stay. The cottage is clean and nicely decorated. It was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The lake and sunset was beautiful. It was also dog friendly with grass for him to run around and easy entry into the lake for our dog to swim. We hope to visit again soon!
