Cooks Beach is made famous because Captain James Cook sailed on the HMS Endeavour into Mercury Bay in 1769 and anchored at Cooks Beach off Purangi.

This Architect's own Eco-Bach is nestled next to an 18-hole golf green overlooking a tranquil lake with the mountains behind. This location will be a perfect spot for aspiring golfers. The amazing sun sets/sun rises are seen here frequently and going to the beach is a 10 mins walk. This new 2-storey cedar clad house has 4 bedrooms, 2 separate lounges, 2 bathrooms and separate WC, has a Billiard Pool table and can accomodate 10 people. Two timber decks are available for outdoor entertaining.

A wonderful space for families to enjoy, very easy access to the beach just a 7 min walk and the shops also 7 mins away. Two large decks and two lounge areas. We can also offer the brand-new sleep out which a bedroom with ensuite which is an extra $245 cash per night should you wish to use this space. For 8 people we highly recommend this 4th room however the main house can sleep 8 with the fold out bed. A beautiful, restful place with everything you will need for an incredible holiday.

We are only a 3 minutes’ walk to the beach and a 10 minutes’ walk to Purangi estuary, 5 minutes drive to Ferry Landing and short ferry ride to Whitianga with fantastic Restaurants, Cafes and Shopping.

We are on the Kauaeranga Valley Rd close to all the walking tracks, so if you are wanting to walk the tracks during the day & stay with us at night the cabin would be perfect for you.

Lovely 2-story beach house on a stunning estuary, perfect for families or a group of friends. All day sun, large lounge deck and fantastic views/sunsets across the water. Large lawn, safe swimming, SUP/watersports and fishing at your doorstep, children's park next door and a short walk to the ocean beach, shops/cafes or hiking the nearby mountain. On request, sleeping can be expanded from 6 to max 8 (excl. babies – BYO pack&play).
