Stayed at the Braves Retreat for a hunt at Canemount. Just what me and my hunting partner needed. Efficient, vintage, peaceful.

This place was great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The back screened in porch was amazing! When we weren’t on the lake we were enjoying the porch. The views from the house were great and the dock perfect for watching the sun rise and set. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking to visit Lake Bruin!

The house is in a quiet little neighborhood (if it can be called as such as there are only a few houses around) and offers lots of privacy. Having two bathrooms was very convenient. Well stocked up with tissues and toiletries. Felt homey, spacious. Loved using Natchez Trace Parkway to get to Natchez and Jackson. Ms. Dora answered our questions right away. Thank you for a great stay!

Very homey and relaxing. Accommodated my family and I very well. 5 star host. Place was clean, peaceful, and as described. Will definitely be staying with my family in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. It was the most relaxing place we have been to in a long time. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. She would have helped in a heartbeat if we had any issues, which we didn’t. We loved it!

Great getaway close to home for the girls. It’s the second and third time for some of us to stay here and it feels like a home away from home.

We look forward to coming here every year. It is so peaceful and beautiful. Sitting outside looking at Lake Bruin is amazing. Everyone in the family have such a lovely time as well as the pups. The lake house was a beautiful welcome, and everyone felt right at home. The spacious and up-to-date rooms were a huge plus. There were no issues connecting to the local WiFi. This lake house will definitely be a family favorite again!
