Te Tiro Cottage Two & Glowworms

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

Sea and rural surroundings, convenient position.

The Chalet will be clean, spacious and convenient to everything available in this beautiful environment. You will have a generous view of our estuary and sandhills to the front. Then as the property backs on to a farm there is a very strong rural feel, with wide views of Bream Tail Farm and the Brynderwyn hills. Trek the Goldschmidt track to the beach from the top end of Cullen St or 25 minutes walk by road. The estuary walk is about 10 minutes via the shortcut track halfway down the road.

Tau Studio - Boutique Accommodation

Tau Studio is a boutique style chalet with a modern stylish decor and a hint of luxury. Everything is provided including top quality linen. It is very spacious but also has a lovely cosy, warm feel. Perfect for couples. It is based in the lovely quiet village of Rangataua which is only a 5-minute drive to Ohakune township where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. The winter offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding, and summer offers lots of walks, mountain biking and fishing.

ParaPara River Retreat, tranquil, private, cosy

This well crafted stone cottage is close to beautiful Golden Bay bush walks, old historic gold workings, lonely beaches, the Mussel Inn, swimming holes and much more. A striking building nestled in a tranquil and private setting, makes for a relaxing stay that would suit couples and solo adventurers alike. Literally on Kahurangi National Park's doorstep! The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

Perfect for a family holiday with a beach for playing, swimming, fishing, kayaking or walking to your heart's content. Our place is situated at the beautiful Ohope beach, 2 minute walk from a very popular swimming and surfing beach (great for learners), 5-7 minute drive to shops, wharf, golf course, bush walks, restaurant and cafes. We offer unlimited wifi, a smart tv in bedroom, card games and kids toys, a deck with a BBQ, large sunshade an equipped kitchen for cooking or baking.

Russell Heights Chalets

One of two, new two-bedroom chalets overlooking Matauwhi Bay in Russell. They are open plan two bedroom, one ensuite bathroom with indoor outdoor living. All rooms open onto the main deck overlooking the gardens with a view of Matauwhi Bay from all rooms. Plenty of parking and outdoor space. There is a ten minute walk to two main beaches and Russell Township, where there are many restaurants and cafes.

Romantic night in a 'Hole in the Ground'

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard. Comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).

Sleep-out at Whanga

Brand new self contained Studio with covered deck area, opening onto fully fenced sunny garden, private from neighbours. Short walk to Main Beach, Estuary and Nine Hole Golf Course. Whangamata is suitable for all water sports, walking, tramping, biking etc Our township hosts general shopping, cafes and restaurants.

Matakana Village Chalet and sleepout

My place is a self contained unit with a separate bathroom and bedroom. The lounge/kitchen has a day bed also. We have just added an extra sleepout with queen sized bed. We provide milk, yoghurt, cereal tea and coffee as a first morning breakfast starter.

Springfield studio - fully self contained

Tranquil tropical private setting, minutes from the CBD and main arterials. Award winning designer studio, set in a quiet oasis, separate access and detached oriental feel bathroom. Queen bed, lounge setting with dining and flow to decks.
