The Log Cabin on the Canoochee River

This cabin is located on the river bank of the Canoochee River in Claxton, Georgia. This is a hidden treasure in south Georgia. The river is great for swimming, kayaking and fishing. During most of the year a vessel larger than a kayak will not be able to navigate the river. Note: Presently, winter months are not available to be booked. The past two winters have had excessive flooding. Host will make these weeks available two weeks at a time as the water level is adequate for access.

Walking distance to grocery and eating . Sleeping for 4 must be adventurous and able to climb the ladders up to the lofted sleeping areas. Also once up in the loft movement will be limited to crawling in this area. It’s got a low ceiling and guest will not be able to stand up in the sleeping area’s. Weak WiFi so not dependable .

The pond house is within minutes of Rock Hill Barn, The Collins Family Barn, Georgia Southern University, Vidalia Onion Festival and Splash in the Boro.

Nautical Dreams

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in our Nautical Dreams located in southeastern Georgia. A comfortable and cozy spot for up to 2 guest. Surrounded by pine trees and nature, you're sure to enjoy the peaceful setting. We're located outside of town on dead-end dirt road. Nautical Dreams has a very quiet AC unit to keep you cool during the summer heat as well as an above ground 24 ft pool just steps away. Come and enjoy the glamping simple life.

Drift Away

This riverside retreat offers fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing on the porch and listen to the river run. There is a public boat ramp a few hundred yards away. Jack Hill State Park and Golf Course is just 8.7 miles away. Phone reception is poor unless you enable WiFi calling. This is a simple, but clean and cozy cabin. It isn’t the Hilton, but people seem to love it and we love staying here as often we can. Come fish, relax, and explore!

Beautiful 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage with a sleeping loft nestled on 30 acres bordered by a beautiful freshwater creek and offering private UTV/ATV trail leading to private sandbar access. The majority of wood used in construction of this cabin was hand milled on site. Convenient location in proximity to Vidalia, Lyons, Metter and Statesboro.
