Travelling North or South and need a stop over ? We are just off Highway 6 at beautiful Gowan Bridge. On offer is the top storey of our house, 3x bedrooms, shower room, separate toilet, lounge with kitchenette and balcony. Our property has 24 acres of paddocks and Manuka forest bordered by the beautiful Buller and Gowan rivers and National Park. Large Park like garden. We offer you country hospitality and a quiet homely atmosphere. PLEASE NOTE you are able to use our full kitchen if required.

We love to welcome you for a rejuvenating holiday in our unique hideaway in nature! The view over Tasman Bay is breathtaking! You are surrounded by lush regenerating bush, refreshing river and diverse birdsong. This is a truly relaxing place in privacy. Soak in the fresh air, clean spring water, or in the fire bath. Karaka Studio on Manuka Island

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafe, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Quiet Street/ Walk Everywhere

Our priority is ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable night's sleep. We provide comfortable beds, 2 Super King-sized beds and 1 queen-sized bed. Our property is on a tranquil cul-de-sac but within walking distance of town. A brand new Air Con and a wood burner make this home very cozy. Our location is very central. Motueka is the closest town to Abel Tasman National Park, and we are nestled between Nelson City and Nelson Lakes to the South and Golden Bay to the North.

The perfect winter escape! Come and enjoy our lovely cozy beach house. High on the hill, you'll appreciate the peace and privacy, yet you can meander down the bush path from the front lawn and be on the beach in a minute or two. Engage in the beach, the river, the walks or simply relax - it's easy to do here! - and enjoy the lush views from Farewell Spit to Separation Point. Whilst stargazing you can catch both the Pillar Point and Farewell Spit lighthouses.

Clean, warm and comfortable en-suite accommodation for up to 5 guests (the fifth guest will be accommodated on a trundler bed in the twin room, making it a triple) plus an infant in cot. Tucked away in a sunny corner of Richmond with its own private, fenced garden. A haven to return to after exploring our local vineyards, cafes, cycle trail, beaches and walks. Quiet and cosy Motueka

The master bedroom and en-suite in my home is set up as a private Airbnb room. It has its own car parking area, entrance door, and kitchenette. I live in the rest of the house. So its like staying in your own motel room but without that usual bland and touristy motel feeling.
