Welcome to our newly renovated house River Cottage, 16km from Springs Junction. Set on its own section, with mountain views, surrounded by farmland, a short walk to the fantastic Maruia river. The river is ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking, gold panning. We are located halfway between Christchurch and Nelson, enjoy a relaxing stop off on your journey or bring the family and enjoy a fantastic rural get away. Bike tracks, walks, including the Lake Daniel's day track are in the Buller area

Table tennis & plenty of games. Ideal for families & small groups. Self check in with lockbox. Guests must bring their own linen & towels (linen hire available at extra cost). No wifi but mobile phone coverage available. Guests must leave property as they found it, otherwise additional cleaning fees maybe charged.

Trass Valley Cottage - Delightful Rural Retreat

Nurture family time or connecting with friends by planning a great escape! Delightfully quaint, the cottage allows you to take a well-earned break from the hustle and bustle of life without compromising on comfort or style. Just 30 minutes from Nelson airport, Wakefield is a great base for all the action with beaches, wineries, breweries and the Nelson Lakes all around 30 minutes drive. Mountain biking is even closer with the Great Taste Trail and Kainui Bike Park just at the end of the road!

Elegant Villa Nestled In The Trees

A turn of the century villa with an interesting history! For it's first 30 years it was the 2nd story of one of the areas original farmsteads before being split from the ground level and relocated 100m north to where it sits today. Privately nestled in amongst heritage trees on a large section you could be mistaken for being in the country. Lovingly renovated and restored in 2019, this beautiful 3 bedroom/2 bathroom villa now offers the perfect mix of modern conveniences and original features

ParaPara River Retreat, tranquil, private, cosy

This well crafted stone cottage is close to beautiful Golden Bay bush walks, old historic gold workings, lonely beaches, the Mussel Inn, swimming holes and much more. A striking building nestled in a tranquil and private setting, makes for a relaxing stay that would suit couples and solo adventurers alike. Literally on Kahurangi National Park's doorstep! The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.

The Woodsman's Den is a 2 bedroom guesthouse set in your own private corner of our 10 acre property. An amazingly secluded haven that looks out on lush native forest. Wake up to the cacophony of birdsong, fresh mountain air and a sense of well-being. The surrounding area sits nestled amongst the mountains and has an array of outdoor activities on offer. Or how about snuggling by the fire with a book, soaking in the hot tub or wandering down the road to one of the local eateries.
