The famous Te Apiti Wind Farm of the Manawatu can be seen from most parts of the property, along with the picturesque hills, old sheds and lush vegetation. Not to mention, it's a bird's paradise. This accomodation is in a secluded country area but only 15mins from the centre of Palmerston North city and only 5 minutes from the Palmerston North air port. The dwelling consists of an open plan kitchen dining lounge area, a seperate bedroom with a queen size bed and a seperate bathroom consisting of a toilet shower and vanity unit. Takapau Yurt Experience

Situated in the side garden by the main house on a privately owned sheep farm (42 acres). Stunning views across the valley from behind the yurt and mountain views from the beautiful native garden surrounding the house. Guest bathroom is inside the main house. Breakfast is included and dinner is available at request and additional charge from my fully licenced food truck. Local superette 5mins drive away in the village, several nearby bush walks and wineries within a 15 min drive.

Or u could do absolutely nothing and enjoy the piece and quiet. The iconic tui brewery is a great place for lunch and a refreshment and also Pukaha Mt Bruce is an amazing wildlife reserve is well worth a visit with the kids - both are within 25 mins from the cottage
