Our stay at Villa Padavne ( 29/Dec/24 - 01/Jan/25) was extremely relaxing and peaceful. Although getting to this place via road is a bit challenging, clear instructions from Nandita ji ensured that we did not lose our way. Once we reached there, we realized that the drive was totally worth the effort. The cottage was very cozy , comfortable and clean. The "kohinoor" of this place is of course the Padavne beach which can be accessed from this property after a short hike downhill. The beach is pristine with cyan blue waters and no crowd whatsoever. Our pets (Bravo & Ranjha) also had a blast running around in this serene beach. The home-cooked food by Ram Vilas and his family was simple and excellent, just what we needed. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some quality time in the lap of nature, away from the cuffs of the concrete jungle.

This place is excellent for those looking out for a sundowner experience, a villa on a hillock. the interiors were beautiful. You need to connect with the caretaker at least two days in advance if you have any specific food requirements as this place is far from the market area. The villa exterior looks very old , I think for the price paid this should be taken care of. we loved the gazebo area which is the best place just to sit and lie down on the charpai (beadstead/cot) , and enjoy the sea breeze in the afternoon, followed by sunset. The caretaker was very good and ensured amazing food service, simple, yet very tasty, they gave us both konkan and Rajasthani cuisine. Overall a great place with minor things to be taken care of by the host.

I had an incredible stay at Shekhar Villa. This peaceful beautiful property is a step away from a clean tranquil beach. We enjoyed a walk by the ocean, met friendly local fishermen, and watched the sunset from the Gajabadevi temple. We thoroughly enjoyed authentic fish thali and Malvani veg thali prepared by Ms Deepali. The host Ms Vanita Ma'am was in constant touch ensuring everything was perfect. Just make sure to carry some snacks with you since there are no eateries close by. However, The house was maintained properly including clean bathrooms. Thought it was a spontaneous trip turned into a memorable experience :)

Excellent location, fantastic food and warm friendly hosts.. what else do you need on a vacation!!! a very dog friendly place. private access to the beach. small kitchen for personal use. will definitely visit again!! 😀

we booked the cottage but then decided to go for the main villa. Ms Nandita was kind enough to consider our request at short notice. The place itself is a rustic beauty. The charm of being isolated and the feel of having a house and then garden and then the beach was fully lived at this property. The view from balcony or having your meal sitting by the pool area was soulful. The place is isolated but then that's the charm of this place. Being in the midst of nature and yet a luxurious stay to live at. It's not just the villa but the experience that comes along as you don't feel the need to step out. The beach itself is clean beautiful and amongst the lesser known marvels. Special mention for caretaker Ram and his family who make you feel at home and are so courteous. Visit this place for the unique experience one might get. It's far from the market or the noise of city and that's what makes this place special. Already planning for next visit soon. 2 nights stay wasn't enough.

Stay at this Malvan's beach house is amazing. 1) Its Bang on the beach, the sea is amazing & is a fisherman beach but you will get your privacy from tourist and crowd. 2) The House is very spacious and within Malvan the best property if you are a luxury traveller 3) The main deal you get with this house is the care takers Hausa & Her husband Yogesh. Both a simply amazing cooks. Give them enough time they will prepare delicious Meal for you. Try her suggestions you would love it.

We had an amazing time at Turtle Beach Hut, so much so that we decided to extend our stay by an extra night. The property is peaceful, well-maintained, and spacious enough for four adults. It's located right on the beach, and the beach itself is incredibly calm, secluded, and serene. We brought our own portable BBQ setup for the evenings, which was perfect. Sharmila, the caretaker, is not only an excellent cook but also a wonderful host. She served us the freshest and most delicious Konkan fish curries and vegetable dishes, all with a warm smile. Dr. Sangita, the property owner, is a kind, welcoming, and generous lady. Overall, we rate everything 5 out of 5. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet, peaceful stay—especially if you’re traveling with pets. We look forward to returning again!

Thank you may not be enough but alas… that’s the only word I have to say thousands of time! A place not to be missed if you love beautiful sea view from a cliff, want to witness around 30 different varieties of birds: from Sunbirds, Munia, lark, Roller to Hornbills, drench yourself in the sea waves or just loiter on virgin beaches to enjoy sun & the sand of three nearby beaches within 1km to 8 km radius; for adventure lovers treks in nearby cliff with real feel of jungle minus the risk!! For star gazers like me starry nights are promised with nice cool breeze on the beautiful patio overlooking Arabian Sea & cliffs on the nearby beaches on one side & open farms on another side with zero light pollution. An experience, that you will cherish for the whole life. Highly recommended!! Don’t miss!!
