ERKIN IS THE GREATEST EXAMPLE OF WHAT HOST WORD MEANS. I STAYED WITH MY FAMILY OVER THERE. AND IT FEELS LIKE I AM IN MYHOME. THE FOOD WAS MOUTH WATERING. I AM SURE HOW MUCH I WRITE ABOUT THE STAYING WITH ERKIN I WILL NOT EXPRESS MY FULL FEELINGS. AS I AM ALSO AIRBNB HOST I CAN GUARANTEE ANYONE THAT AIR BNB SHOULD START A NEW REVIEW SYSTEM WHICH HAS 10 STAR REVIEW AND FROM ME ERKIN WILL EARN THAT ONE EASILY. MAY ALLAH GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO PROSPER MORE AND MORE.

A very cozy guesthouse/hostel arrangement that hosts a variety of friendly travelers. If your priorities include getting to know real people and seeing how real people live in Dushanbe, this spot is a top pick! Professor Saifi and everyone at the home is very responsive, warm and kind! The neighborhood is very walkable and close to great restaurants (some of which take Visa cards) and really good supermarket options. The house being near the Botanical Garden and some local parks means that there are lovely birds singing, even in the wintertime. :) The interior stairs to the 2nd floor can be a bit tricky if you have bad knees or a ton of luggage but you can always ask for help. The guesthouse may not be glamorous like the hyper-modern new construction around Dushanbe but it is an authentic and inviting place to stay while exploring Dushanbe.

Erkin is a great host. He was very responsive and went out of his way to make me feel at home. He recommended things to do in the atea and helped me get tickets with a tour group to Iskanderkul. His wife cooked a delicious meal that I shared with another guest in his house. Erkin helped me get a taxi at 1:00 am. To the airport. I was very happy to have stayed at his guesthouse. I highly recommend his place for solo travelers as well as family and friends.
