River House with private access to the River

Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

From the garden there are stairs to access a river beach, perfect for cooling off in the summer months! *Please note: we have a cat who lives here too.

Voor kinderen is er genoeg te doen zoals schommelen, skelteren, trampoline springen, kanoën en natuurlijk zwemmen! Op het terrein lopen 3 enthousiaste, vriendelijke honden, poezen en kippen. De oprit van het terrein is onverhard en hobbelig, maar prima te doen met een gewone auto.
