Our recent stay at Usnea was genuinely the most amazing experience we could have asked for. Ben and Joan are the kindest, most inspiring hosts and it is clear they have put decades of passion into this beautiful property. From the entrance, to the guest cottage, to the many walking trails and gardens throughout, this place truly is breathtaking. It is really no surprise so many guests have visited several times.

Kona and I had a wonderful stay at Jane's in Herberton. Jane was very welcoming, the place was secluded and relaxing, had good ammenties and delicious breakfast supplies. We also enjoyed making friends with the resident donkey, cow and dogs. Would happily stay again. Thank you :)

Beautiful place offering pure serenity. I’d stay again. Bed was very comfortable and well stocked with items you need for a long weekend. Saw Platapus in the lake and the indoor fire place offered nice warmth and tranquility. Amanda was a lovely and very responsive host.

Dallas was a really good host! He was VERY friendly and the chocolates on top of the towels where so cute! And the welcome sign! It where the little things! He filled the fridge with lots of food! It was a 10 out of 10! We loved our stay!

The view from the deck was stunning, but head inside and snuggle up on one of the large couches near the fireplace and you can still take in the amazing views. A wonderful place to spend a few lazy days.

Lovely cabin backing onto the rainforest and river. John was the perfect host, gave a fiendly tour around the property then we returned to the cabin with fresh hot cross buns waiting for us. They have obviously given a lot of thought into everything that we might need or want to make our stay as comfortable as possible because it was all there, and some. The area was a post card and it was so nice to come back to such a well appointed little cabin in the forest after a day of exploring the tablelands.

Fifi’s accommodation is something truly special. Quiet, private, full of details waiting to be discovered, and with a beautiful garden. For us, it’s the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at so far. The studio is perfectly equipped and tastefully furnished. We highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone.

Het verblijf bij Alec en Helen was geweldig . Wat een ontzettende lieve mensen! We werden zo vriendelijk ontvangen en alles werd goed uitgelegd, Ze hebben ons veel privatie gegeven gedurende ons verblijf. Fijn dat het ontbijt in de koelkast stond die we zelf op onze tijd konden klaar maken. Alec heeft twee avonden een overheerlijke 3 gangen diner voor ons klaargemaakt en Alec en Helen waren een fantastische gastheer en gastvrouw. Het was een belevenis op zich om daar te eten met goede muziek en vuurtje. We kregen goede tips om de dag te besteden en voor onze verdere reis. Alec en Helen, bedankt voor het geweldige verblijf bij jullie in de leuke en gezellige Barn in een prachtige omgeving (de tuin is echt prachtig!) en voor jullie vriendelijkheid! Rik en Ingeborg

We had a great few days away. The place was comfortable, clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Dian also supplied a lovely breakfast as a treat. This was a nice surprise which we enjoyed. Dian responded quickly to my emails and helped to make our stay just perfect. Thanks Dian for a lovely stay and for being a great host.

Thank you, Margie and Vit, for the most beautiful two nights. It was the best place to end our roadtrip and prepare for our flight home. The rooms and your house are amazing and also your very warm welcome have made us feel right at home. We really enjoyed our BBQ and talking to you the whole evening. Thank you also for the good tips, even if we didn't have much time, before our flight we visited the two big trees at lake Barrine and the Barron Falls ;-) We wish you all the best for the future and thank for for the nice time. We had a fantastic stay at Sue's place and spend the day with her lovely pets. The place is tidy and you can feel right at home. We walked into the little city and Sue gave us some great recommendations for waterfalls etc in the area - they were really beautiful. Thank you really much for having us, Sue. We have stayed in a lot of Air BNBs, some considerably more expensive than this one. However, no-one has a been as thoughtful. We had a fresh shop completed for us that showcased some local produce for a variety of breakfast options. We felt incredibly welcome and at home. We were searching a place that allowed us to recharge away from the busy world and this was perfect, we felt at peace yet could still hop in the car and within 10 minutes could visit a cafe and buy produce. We had cows on our back doorstep which our hosts would answer our questions, yet would allow us to simply enjoy having nature around us. Finally one of the most important things when staying at an air bnb, the bed was very comfortable. There is nothing worse than a perfect air BnB than to be let down by a poor bed, certainly not the case here.

Wir waren für eine Nacht zu Gast und wurden nett empfangen. Das Haus und die Lage ist toll. Sheryl hat uns am nächsten Morgen erzählt wie das Haus gebaut wurde…beeindruckend.
