Wunderschöne Hütte, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und gemütlich eingerichtet - es ist alles da, was man braucht und Sabine als Host super nett und proaktiv. Wir haben tolle Ausflugsziele und Restaurants empfohlen bekommen und auch den von Sabine angebotenen Ausritt sehr genossen! Die Ruhe , die Isländer direkt vor der Hütte, der tolle Ausblick und die Gemütlichkeit haben uns super gefallen und wir hatten wunderschöne 4 Nächte hier. Auf jeden Fall eine große Empfehlung von uns! Gern würden wir auch selbst wiederkommen!!!

I loved the room! Very warm and cozy and everything was exactly as described. Lisa was super proactive and helpful. I even got a Christmas present :) Would definitely come again.

We stopped for the night at Kristine’s listing on the first night of our Iceland road trip. Kristine’s cottage was easy to find and absolutely spotless with breathtaking views. The hot tub was a lovely added bonus to a beautiful listing and Kristīne was super helpful with everything. Couldn’t recommend more!

There were 7 adults and 1 child. Accommodations were just right. Grocery store was just down the street, fresh food was always available. The apartment had plenty of towels, and laundry facilities with soap. The kitchen had everything we needed. Fortunately the windows opened because it was very warm. My only real complaint is for the price I paid for cleaning, I felt the apartment could have been a bit cleaner. Overall I recommend this apartment. Runar was awesome. Since no one was there before or directly after us, our check in and out was at our convenience. We appreciated that flexibility as our flight arrived at 5AM and departed at 4PM.

This was the perfect place for our group of two moms and two teen daughters. It was within an hour of Reykjavik and key Golden Circle sites, and was easy access to Highway 1 that took us to the Southern part of the country to experience its dramatic features (our favorite part). Nearby Sellfoss offered the cheapest gas we found and lower prices at grocery stores than in Reykjavik. We had amazing views of the Northern Lights every night we stayed up late enough to see them due to the wide open views from the cabin and relative low light in the valley. The hosts were AMAZING, offering tips, keeping us informed about the area, and even dropping us a quick note when they'd heard through local reports that there would be a particularly great aurora display that night. We also loved the relative privacy and open space around the cabin. I almost hesitate to go on as we plan to return one day and I hope the place isn't booked solid!

This home is exactly as it's marketed. We were a group of 5 men, and we all really enjoyed this house. Sitting in that hot tub, with the freezing landscape around us, was beautiful. We loved this place.

This is the most beautiful Airbnb I have stayed in. The pictures are exactly what you experience - and so much more. It is hard to describe the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding environment. We were fortunate enough to see the Northern lights each night! We had the most incredible time and recommend this location and home without reservation. Omar was an outstanding and responsive host and we cannot say enough positive things about this listing.

Kristin‘s place was fully stocked, extremely easy to find and flexible timing when checking in and checking out! It was peaceful and a beautiful location. I would recommend this to anybody who has a family or traveling with multiple families.

Oh where to begin! The house: it’s a child’s or child at heart dream “tree house”. Very unique and well constructed by Tolli himself. We had everything we needed. Shower has great pressure and supper hot water (which is a must). Beds are comfy, blankets are warm and plenty of pillows. Our kids loved sleeping on the nets. Tolli graciously provided mattresses for them. The host: very friendly, extremely accommodating and responsive. Plus and very interesting person. As we got to the house, he was just finishing up making a round wood table for the kitchen….fascinating. Almost everything inside is constructed by Tolli himself. Location: restaurants, market and gas station within 2 min. We loved the location itself bc it in the middle of all the places we planned on visiting. The roads are not congested. The scenery around the house is peaceful. There are cats and chickens walking about the yard. If we ever return to Iceland, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Tolli!
