Elegant guest wing with own private garden & pool.

Feel spoilt by the elegance of yesteryear in the 1800’s manor of Mount Pleasant. Dine al fresco beside your private pool at this historic property nestled under Table Mountain. Unwind with a glass of Cape wine in the gracious and romantic guest suite with its own vine-strewn garden, or curl up in an armchair by the grand stone fireplace. The spacious and airy open-plan guest suite is ideal for couples and young families. Centrally located in leafy Newlands, within walking distance of the famous sports stadiums, UCT and SACS. The house has been recently renovated and is a family home, and the property of Mount Pleasant is an interesting slice of Cape Town’s history, dating back to the 18th Century. The guest suite is ideal for a couple or family and consists of: - one large open plan bedroom-lounge (sleeps 3 - 4) - a full kitchen - bathroom with bath, shower, double vanity - a private lap pool - private garden looking up to Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak. In summer, lazing beside the sunny pool, dining outside and having a traditional South African “braai” (barbecue) are a must and in winter the roaring fire, full kitchen and TV provide a warm retreat. The bedroom-lounge is open plan with separate kitchen and bathroom. King size bed, a single sofa bed and a further single bed set up in the suite for 4th guest if required. Cable TV and WiFi are included. On offer are bottles of wine and drinks, laundry and cleaning services. Other extras which may be available are: use of the baronial dining room for meetings (seating for up to 18 people) or special occasions (daytime only). Please note: the pool is NOT fenced and is immediately adjacent to the suite, so please take extra care (therefore the space is not recommended for children who cannot swim). Private garden and pool. Off-street parking for 1 car. Use of the large dining room on request. Guests can enjoy total privacy, but the family and domestic staff are usually at home to welcome you and happy to answer questions and assistance via phone or text.Our friendly dogs: Boris, Frankie, Josh and Pixel will always give you an enthusiastic welcome (but your garden and wing is private so the dogs won’t bother you). Newlands is one of the original leafy suburbs of Cape Town bordering the University and State President’s residence. Lovely and sheltered from summer winds and cafes, restaurants and shops are a stroll away. Newlands is perfectly central for most of Cape Town’s most popular excursions. Table Mountain and cableway, the V&A Waterfront, beaches, wine farms, and the city centre are all within 10-25 minutes' drive and Ubers etc are readily available. The suburb of Newlands itself has many attractions, but to enjoy the full offering of Cape Town we recommend hiring a car or taking a taxi (Uber or call-taxi). Private guides or drivers will also collect directly from the premises. Airport transfers/shuttles/taxis are available at the airport or by booking through a transfer company. POOL Important: the pool is not protected with a net or fence and is immediately adjacent to the suite so please be careful and we do NOT recommend the suite for infants/children who cannot swim. PETS We can accommodate pets on request, but be aware there are resident dogs. EXTRAS Extras, such as wine, can be paid in cash or through the SnapScan App. MEETINGS & FUNCTIONS The baronial dining room can be booked for special meetings and daytime functions (rates/availability on request). It is a handsome room and seats 14-18 people. SHOOTS & LOCATION The Mount Pleasant manor house and grounds may be available for professional photography/film shoots. This would need to be by special arrangement directly with owners or their agents. Rates vary according to specifics of the shoot. (Please note: use of the guest space for commercial shoots would be an extra cost and is not included in the accommodation rate).

Renovated 1930s Townhouse with Rooftop Deck

Find space to recharge in an minimalist custom design historic home. Rejuvenate the senses in an aesthetically soothing space with a monochrome theme, a blend of contemporary and classic finishes, original art throughout, and mountain views. The sublime architecture of the house makes this space unique and extremely pleasant to live. The area is super safe and full of awesome restaurants and bars. The square is one of the nicest downtown and it is in an heritage area. The house is also very secure, with alarm, secure gates etc. Guests are allowed to smoke on the terrace, not inside the loft. Guests have exclusive access to all areas of the main house I do not live in the property but I am available when needed The area is most central to all of Cape Town, set amid very hip and historic spots. The neighborhood is home to a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The square in front of the house has ample free public parking available for cars. Uber is the quickest, most convenient and affordable way to get around. The nearest hop on, hop off bus stop is 150m from the house. For public transport the nearest MyCity bus stop is 400m from the house. Cleaning and laundry service is available by arrangement The area is most central to all of Cape Town, set amid very hip and historic spots. The neighborhood is home to a large number of restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Amazing Space

The apartment is large, sunny, surrounded by trees, has a big balcony with views of city and mountain. 1 double room. A comfortable home with couches, books, and fibre wifi. The kitchen has gas stove, fridge and washing machine. The location is suburban but close to town, a few blocks to bus stops, trendy restaurants, parks, coffee shops. Fireplace in winter and/ or gas heater for R20 extra per day. I live downstairs, but privacy is yours. If you are bringing pets please discuss before arrival.

Just Off Long

Welcome home to this trendy light-filled apartment that is perfectly positioned amidst the hustle and bustle of Cape Town's famous downtown City Bowl! Location is key as you can step right out of the apartment and be on popular Long Street and Bree Street making it a short walk to the trendy pubs, local eateries, and fashionable stores. Our apartment is ideal for the business traveler as well as for the holidaymaker who wants to feel like they are at home. The apartment is newly renovated and in a fresh condition. The location is perfect for guests who want easy access to tourists attractions like The V&A Waterfront, Robin Island, and Beaches. Situated on the top floor of the apartment block, you have uninterrupted views of the ocean and sunrise. There are amazing restaurants and Cape Town stadium in walking distance.

Luxury spacious holiday house near lake and beach

Located in quiet residential area. Luxurious, spacious and very comfy. Open plan house with 6 bedrooms. 5 mins walk to the lake nearby, enjoy bird watching, fishing or jogging. Beach is about 15mins walk away. My Citi bus public transport close by. Great base to explore Cape Town. Battery and inverter been installed to cover the load shedding. Can support lights, TV and wifi, but won't support appliances that will use lots of electricity such as microwave oven, hairdryer, oven, etc.

Kuusiku, at the foot of Table Mountain

Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain with beautiful views of city. This light filled apartment is ideally positioned in the quiet leafy suburb of Vredehoek, just out of the city.A short distance from central Cape Town and Waterfront where you can experience the sights, sounds and smells of beautiful Cape Town. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the outdoors, as running, hiking and riding on Table Mountain is on your doorstep, 30 seconds away. Come and play in our backyard :)

Cozy living in a boutique heritage Woodstock home

Modern living in this neat Pinterest style home in upper woodstock. The two cozy bedrooms are bright and have a queen and a double sized bed and workspace areas. The entire space has recently been renovated so expect a beautiful modern bathroom, kitchen and lounge. This entire space is perfect for those who like houses with lots of sunshine and and a ton of greenery. Ideal for a small family travelling or a group of friends looking for a nice, stylish space close to the city.

The Only ONE @ Blouberg Sands - Back Up Power Battery. This home is close to the beach and set in a very quiet residential area so it’s perfect for a relaxing break away with swimming pool. Everything in this home is immaculate. Lovely bathrooms with outdoor showers. Comfortable beds with pillow top mattress. You can enjoy sunny days by the pool sipping cocktails with an outdoor lounging area to relax. Indoor and outdoor braai and log fireplace. This home is stunning.
