My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Jenni's place. It was close to Ricketts Glen which is why we visited. There are two restaurants close by that was helpful. The house is cozy and worked perfectly for our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Thorne Haven was exactly what we hoped it would be and then some. The kitchen had everything we needed (even some things we didn't know we needed...impromptu white gravy with the planned breakfast sausage) and the dining room fit us all (with an amazing view)! The guest rooms were comfortable and private, we had lots of "together" space and plenty of opportunity to step away as well. The activities were endless with something for everyone: the game room(s), the movie and/or reading options, board games, the hot tub, the lower deck, large yard for football/Frisbee/tag and the pond! But I think one of our favorite things was being able to have a fire in the main fireplace every day...so cozy and welcoming (suggest bringing a little of your own wood if you keep it going like we did)! Our family had the ideal get away: from the grandparents right down to the grandchildren & grand dogs! Thorne Haven is truly like a home away from home feeling and we will definitely go back.

Thought we had a small issue with double booking our reservation they quickly jumped ahead of the situation and gave us suitable glamping accommodations. Vanessa was fantastic and very helpful trying to make everything perfect. Will definitely return and enjoyed our trip even more than we expected.

Really comfortable farmhouse on an amazing property. Quiet, peaceful, and some great vistas. We loved it here and hope to come back soon.

I have stayed at this location on many occasion and the place is great. It’s quiet yet very centrally located to enjoy all of the things the Forksville/Hillsgrove area has to offer. The house is open with plenty of space. Can’t wait to return again soon!

This is our second year renting this home, and we had a wonderful stay again with our friends! The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and we loved spending time on the spacious wraparound patio, taking in the peace and quiet. The private driveway was a great convenience, and the beds were super comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bedrooms offered lovely views as well, making it a peaceful retreat. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would love to return!

This is everything you could hope for and more. Scott is an incredible host. The house is absolutely incredible! Price is overly reasonable for what you get with the property. Anyone staying here will see exactly what I mean as soon as you pull up to the house. Once you walk in, it's one amazing experience after another. There was 4 of us who stayed and every single one of us were video chatting with all our families showing them just how truly amazing this place was! Thank you Scott for a wonderful experience.

Was in the area for a car show and a few friends and I needed a place to stay within reason from the mall where the show took place. Simple 25 minute drive to Wilkes Barre. House was super clean and Martines responses were quick and very informative. If you’re ever looking for a nice home in the area, definitely recommend this one

This was our second stay at this house, and once again it was a great stay at a great property. Since our prior stay a year ago, they have added both a foosball table and an outdoor hot tub, and our group really appreciated both of these. It shows the owners are investing in upkeep. We also appreciated the baseball field just up the hill. The location right next to Elk Creek is wonderful, with a fire pit area close to the creek. This is a big beautiful older house with modern bedding, fireplace, oven, couch/recliners, etc.

This home is beautiful and in a great location. I love coming here just for a few days away from home. Adriana is always a great host and offers a wonderful place to relax.

The pictures do not do this property justice. Beautiful house, property and furnishings. This is an ideal location for anyone who loves nature and wants to get away from it all. The house is huge, full kitchen plenty of amenities, numerous rooms, very comfortable and spotless. The cherry on top was the host! David is extremely gracious and very accommodating. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy this property more!

This place is great, but as Benjamin says in the description, please don’t think it’s the Taj Mahal. It is a very rustic setting which is exactly what we wanted. You don’t see anyone else if you don’t want to. We came the week after Christmas and it was beautiful with all the snow! Do not attempt it if there is snow and you don’t have 4-wheel, you may not make it. It was perfect for what we wanted. No cell reception AT ALL. I was in SOS mode the entire time. HOWEVER, the Wi-Fi was excellent so I could Wi-Fi call or FaceTime with anyone I needed to. Benjamin was very informative and very honest about the place. There is nothing wrong with it, though. It was comfortable and used and loved. It needs some updating but was clean and I didn’t have any issues. My only complaint was the Hot Tub. It was not working and that was the reason we had picked the place. I asked Benjamin about it and he gave me instructions to get it filled and running but that wasn’t for us. Just ask him prior to.

Our family (3 kids and a dog) were looking for something secluded and drivable to multiple parks. Margo's cabin fit the bill. It was warm, cozy, and had plenty of space for us. Seeing sunrises and sunsets on the pond were a nice benefit. There were geese and a beaver in the pond. We brought food and cooked at the cabin. Margo was super responsive and informative. We spent our days out at Ricketts Glen and World's End state parks. Note that the internet and cell service is spotty in that area in general, and we had to take our trash out with us. But those are to be expected in a secluded area. We loved the cabin, property, and spending our days in the parks with our kids and Corgi.

This place is fantastic. It's very spacious and has plenty of beds if you're traveling with a group. The different rooms were all decorated nicely and each with its own quirks. The 2 fireplaces were a great way to warm up, and the property outside is beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed here for a night after a day of hiking at Ricketts Glen. It is only a few minutes from the park, which is exactly what we were looking for. Everything was as expected….comfortable and clean, but no frills. The property has trails to explore and there was a great spot less than a mile down the street for food and drinks.

Braeden’s place is the best. So close To Ricketts Glenn. Peaceful setting. The inside of the camper is very roomy and feels like home. The little things and needs are supplied and it’s just the right place to come back to you after a long days hike in the great outdoors :-) I appreciated Braeden as Host. She was immediate in responsive and an excellent Host. I’d snag this spot in a minute again!

My family enjoyed a much needed get away up in the mountains at this little cabin. Was so nice and peaceful. Elizabeth answered every question we had. The kids had a blast and is a trip they will talk about for many years to come. The place was clean. Easy to check in. Elizabeth provided great instructions for check in and check out. Provided a list of places to eat and things to do. We hiked ricketts glen and saw some incredible waterfalls
