The place was clean, lovely, and quiet. A 45 min drive to Williamsburg. Lots of natural light. My kids loved the porch-like sunroom (like a screened-in porch but with walls) in the back of the house with the rainbow filtered windows that created little rainbow coloring on the floor when the sunlight shone through. The beds are tall, so we put the dining room chairs around the side of the bed our 3 yr old slept in as a makeshift railing for safety. If you usually sleep with blackout curtains, I recommend bringing a sleepmask as the sunlight pours in in the mornings. The snack basket, card, and coffee were great touches! We also played some of the games there. Would definitely recommend a stay!

This was our 2nd trip to Fortsville. It is a marvelous location surrounded by rolling hay fields. It has been very clean. Absolutely trying to make this a yearly destination.

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Fished a tournament out of Osbourne Landing which is 10 minutes from Janet's place. The place was perfect for 3 guys with boats. The place was clean, and Janet was very good to communicate with. Will stay again if we come back to fish.

This is a great house in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. There's tons of yard space, and honestly, the house is even prettier in person than it looks in the photos. It's large, open, and very homey... it has that comforting "grandmother's house" feel, but in a really charming way, not old or outdated. Definitely not your plain, cookie-cutter hotel vibe! Everything was very clean, but the place still had so much character. I also really appreciated the focus on restoring original features rather than replacing everything as it added a lot of warmth and uniqueness. Also, the water filter at the sink was a huge bonus and saved me money on bottled water. Highly recommend!

Cyndi was an incredible host. Extremely responsive and such a sweet host. Our group was thoroughly impressed by her home, the cleanliness and the amenities she provided. We even had an issue of locking one of the doors behind us and getting locked out, Cyndi quickly was able to get us back in. We will absolutely be using Cydndi's home again in the future!

She is a great host! She always responded to us kindly and I am very grateful.

Catherine’s home was the perfect place for our sister’s weekend. It was easy to find, warm and welcoming. The neighborhood was stunning. Close to the river, the park, The Maritime Museum, and the CNU campus. The fully stocked kitchen and charming family room was a wonderful place for us to enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Catherine thought of every detail to make our stay relaxing and peaceful. There were many wonderful memories made this weekend. We look forward to staying again!

I had a conference in downtown Norfolk and ended up booking Leo's place because the conference hotel was booked up. Thankfully, Leo's place is within walking distance of the ferry, and from there it's a quick ride to downtown Norfolk! Leo was an awesome communicator, and the space was exactly what was shown in the listing. The area was safe and walkable, and there were lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. I will 100% try to book this place again if I'm ever in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. Cynthia (the host) made communication very easy and all aspects were as advertised. The staff at Wyndham were very friendly and check in was a snap. As for the rooms; clean, and quaint with nice kitchen accommodations. Overall excellent stay, would not hesitate to come back.

Great cozy space for a weekend trip! My friends and I went to Busch gardens for the weekend and wanted a quiet yet affordable and reasonably close location for the park. Casey was very attentive with our questions about getting in (it was all operator error aka me 😳😳) and any other inquires about our stay. The location is on a quiet street with an amazing coffee shop that is directly behind the Airbnb. We will definitely be back!! Casey also offered dish soap, hand soap, detergents, an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, along with a few more things in case they were forgotten.

We had a great stay at Eddie's place! Very close to restaurants, Colonial Williamsburg, and Busch Gardens. The unit we stayed in was spotless and had all of the amenities that we needed during our stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, spacious property with fantastic hosts. Home is extremely well kept inside and outside. Beautiful backyard with scenic views that are well maintained with flowers and seating. Comfortable beds with large bedrooms. Home is in a very nice neighborhood near many food options.

I've stayed here a couple times now. Elizabeth is a great host, and I've really liked Patriot's Place as a base while working in the area. Highly recommend.

We stayed for a weekend to visit Busch Gardens. Property was great, Bianka was very responsive and the unit we had was extremely spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again, lots to do at this resort and it felt like a neighborhood rather than resort.

We had a wonderful stay in Va Beach visiting kids and grandkids that live in the area. It was great having a spacious, well-equipped rental which had everything we needed. Loved having the coffee selection in the morning! Meredith even had beach chairs and some sand toys for the kids. Meredith was very responsive to our communication and did her best to ensure we didn't have any issues during our stay. It was great having bathrooms on all three levels. The location is perfect....far enough away from the beach busyness but also walkable. There are several local eateries and a convenient brewery nearby.....all can be reached via walking. We would definitely stay here again as location, size, and comfort all work for us!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating family birthdays! The house was spacious and had plenty of bathrooms. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. We especially enjoyed the porches overlooking the spectacular views!

We were a group of three couples who wanted our own bedroom and private bathroom to retreat to after enjoying busy days and evenings around Colonial Williamsburg. We really enjoyed the location of Kingsmill and all of the spacious condo amenities!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is clean and welcoming, and the provided bikes are a fun way to experience the neighborhood. We came to relax and this was the perfect area for that! Jessica is very communicative and helpful if you need anything. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet beach getaway.

We had guests coming into town and needed a place for them last minute. Zoe's place was perfect- plenty of space for 6 adults. Good location, easy to get to. Worked out great and our guests raved!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Roshana's place! From the moment we arrived, Roshana made us feel incredibly welcome. The accommodation was exactly as described, if not better. The space was spotless, well-decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roshana went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions and restaurants, yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Communication with Roshana was seamless. She was always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions I had. I truly appreciated her hospitality and attention to detail. I highly recommend staying at Roshana's place if you're visiting Norfolk. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Sarah was a great host…enormously accommodating and flexible. We all had a wonderful stay in a unique home. We would highly recommend Sarah’s place…and make sure that you go to Kiptopeke state park and see the cement ships!!!!
