This was my second time staying, and I will continue to return whenever I go to Iceland. This place is great . . . super clean, awesome bathroom (including washer and dryer, which really come in handy for refreshing our clothing supply on trips), comfortable beds, and a nice, small kitchen area. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Península, and Ólafsvík is a great stop in and of itself, with a beautiful waterfall overlooking the town, which you can hike to the top of . . . a highlight of our trip. Small, grocery store nearby, as well as a restaurant and small diner at the gas station down the street. Thanks to Kristin for providing this little gem of a place to stay!

The duplex apartment and surrounding campus was very nice. The location was in a rural part of the country side with nice views in every direction. The bed rooms were well sized and the common area large enough to fit our group of 7 comfortably. The location had easy access to the Snæfellsjökull National Park and only a couple hours from Reykjavik. Overall a very nice stay to visit the Snaefellsnes peninsula.

This place is nestled in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, making it a perfect retreat. The on-site restaurant is open until 10 PM, and the food was fantastic. The breakfast buffet the next morning was also excellent. After a long day of hiking and driving, the outdoor bath and sauna were a big plus. The rooms, kitchen, and bedroom were spotless and clean, contributing to a very comfortable stay

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. Even though we were not able to go whale watching we saw many light houses , gorges, beaches, and lava fields. This host was so kind and the accommodations were perfect!

Kristin’s apartment was one of our favorite places while touring Iceland. Very peaceful, serene, and quiet. We really enjoyed the view to the harbor. The apartment was clean, neat, and clutter free. Kristin was responsive and courteous. Would love to stay there again!

沿着金色的荒野一路开车，进入Hurandalur农舍的时候，感觉时光倒流，充满了故事感：《秋日传奇》《走出非洲》《廊桥遗梦》……所有光影都是最浪漫而又带一些伤感的电影中最应该有的样子。 这些电影中还应该有一个特别手巧能干的男主人公——农舍主人自己制作的手工家具和丹麦设计大师的古董家具和谐地摆放在一起，每个窗户都是尺寸角度不同的四季画框。 这个离雷克雅未克40分钟车程的现代农舍，看起来承载了那么多故事，其实2024年刚刚建好。夏天的时候我们就想预定，可是没有订到。农舍私家占地700公顷，也就是折合一万亩地，或者7平方公里（700万平方米），真的一眼望不到边！从灰色木栅栏开进来还要很久，旁边有一道小溪蜿蜒流过。 农舍是房子的主人Halldor为妻子和两个孩子度假修建的。里面充满了主人对家人和生活的热爱： 玻璃上贴着很多手作的植物标本，Halldor说是为了防止鸟儿撞到玻璃上制作的。 桌上放着一张手绘地图，告诉住客哪里是桑拿房，蒸完桑拿，小溪的哪个拐弯特别适合洗个露天的溪水澡。 以及如何沿着溪流和火山岩走到湖边，哪里可能会有点滑。 进门的地方挂着防风大衣，摆着四种尺寸的防水靴子，客人都可以使用。 在房子里居然还有非常专业的日本剑山和花剪，是Halldor圣诞节的时候送给太太的。我从田野里剪取红叶黄叶插成茶席花，Halldor说我选的红叶是蓝莓树枝，夏天遍野浆果。 Tony泡了老丛水仙。老师第一次看到冰岛的秋日荒原的时候，就说：“这时候一杯老水仙最适合秋意漫漫。”在荒原中喝老丛水仙，在体感上简直神奇，从头顶一直通到底骨，我们都是如此。可能是环境太清明，这在其它地方从来没有过。 房子有三个卧室，每间本身不大，但都有超大的窗户可以看风景。枕着极光入睡，迎着朝霞醒转。 房子里挂着一个海报，写着： 在沙滩写作，在夏天和秋天阅读； 在冬天和春天阅读，把文字写在风里。

Extrem schöne Unterkunft, um die einmalige Landschaft und Natur in Ruhe zu geniessen! Sehr schön Stimmungen bei Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang, es lohnt sich den Wecker zu stellen:)

Great place to stay with comfortable beds and excellent location for browsing the southern coast or the golden circle.

We absolutely loved Nadia’s house! Perfectly situated on the peninsula with epic views of the mountains and breathtaking Icelandic landscape. The house is perfect for families with plenty of space, comfortable and homely. All topped off with a sauna that is perfect for the end of the day. Would thoroughly recommend a stay.

Ein tolles Ferienhaus! Es ist gemütlich, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr praktisch ausgestattet. Auch die ruhige Lage mit Blick auf das Meer und die Berge hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Kommunikation verlief unkompliziert und alle Informationen kamen rechtzeitig bei uns an. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Haus und können es absolut weiterempfehlen.

Anna Erla’s home is perfect!! We had a little hiccup after checkin but we reached out and got things all sorted out quickly and with very little inconvenience. The location is incredibly peaceful, the views amazing. The home itself was fully furnished with all the essentials and even some extras!! We felt quite at home in the space.

Highly recommend. Great place for a group, good amenities and easy check in. Nice surrounds and we saw incredible northern lights as no light pollution in the area.

This was hands down the nicest, cosiest Airbnb we've stayed at. Anna Maria was friendly and helpful and her house is fantastic - the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fully stocked and then some (the coffee machine was especially fabulous). Our kids enjoyed the puzzles, board games, arts & crafts, movie collection, and space to stretch out and play in the house and yard. You can see the stunning mountains and the sea from the windows and there's tons of beautiful places to see and hike nearby. It was definitely a good idea to buy groceries in Borgarnes on the way to Arnarstapi. We would definitely choose to stay there again!
