It is a peaceful place close to a grocery, restaurant, a bowling alley, a shop with local craft, art and boat museum, and also Viking ruins. There are good conditions for fishing and fishing gear is available. There is free parking, Wi-Fi and cable TV.

The boathouse is 50 m2 + a loft equipped with all modern conveniences. The house is situated in the middle of the Viking village of Kvívík. Even though the house itself is from early 1800s, the interior is just recently refurnished. It is a perfect place to settle down, relax and breathe in the calmness and history of the Faroe Islands. It is 3-4 km from Leynarvatn – the most popular salmon fishing lake of the Faroe Islands.
