Very peaceful and quiet. A great relaxing getaway!

The cabin was so lovely - even prettier than the pictures. The view from the back deck was beautiful! Beds were comfortable and cabin felt spacious. Rocky was so kind and responsive throughout!

I loved Shelley's cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable (including the pillows!), though we didn't use it I was impressed with the firewood being on the front porch with the ability to send payment by phone to pay for it as that is something that can always be frustrating to go and get when traveling sometimes. The hot tub was hot and relaxing although it was missing all the headrests haha. We took a tour of Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum on this trip but would consider coming back just to stay at this cabin for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful, and comfortable. The location, and it's views, are amazing. And the host, Charissa was very friendly and helpful.

One of the best airbnb's we've stayed at, and the best for the price! Extremely clean and well-stocked kitchen, and i loved the island eating area👌 the hot tub never disappointed (the floor lock for the rear door sticks a little bit but just takes a little jostling to unlock) and the fireplace was more than enough to keep the living room warm despite near freezing temps. We didn't use the game room but it was nice to see a second living area downstairs. Directions to the house were initially a little confusing but once we realized it was a block away from the main road we never got lost again. Can't wait to come back! We had an amazing girls trip at the cabin! We enjoyed the privacy and outdoor fire place. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our trip!

Beautiful rustic cabin along the river! Peaceful surroundings, a bit hard to find off the road (which is a good thing) and nice amenities like hot tub and grill. Our family had a great time enjoying Elkins and the Forest Festival hanging out with close relatives and friends! thanks Tiffany!

We had a cozy winter weekend here for Valentine's day. We booked here because it was within an hour drive of Snow Shoe Ski resort. They had the house all decorated for Valentine's day! They gave us local recommendations and we also enjoyed the hot tub.

Located close enough to the river to hear it from the cabin. Good fishing within steps of the cabin. Had a relaxing time and it’s a great place to get away.

Beautiful cabin in out of the way location surrounded by lovely yard and sweet neighborhood. Excellent hiking nearby for 3 days. The cabin was outstanding - every convenience was provided at a high standard. The hosts were immediately responsive when we had an issue, and provided helpful pre-trip advice. Thoroughly recommend for as a getaway from a busy life to unplug and have quality family time.

Despite renting this cabin in the dead of winter, leading to frozen pipes and being buried in snow, this stay was just what I needed to get away for a little while with my dog. Xavier notified me in advance of the pipes and there being no water, but made it work by providing ample drinking and flushing water. The mini split heater and an electric heater kept the cabin comfortable, but the wood stove cabin probably would have been more ideal in this weather. The family who lives near the property was extremely attentive to my needs and made me feel welcomed and safe. Bonus points for adorable goats, chickens, and cats on the property. I hope to come back in better weather to enjoy the trail and lake.

What a beautiful, clean and well-equipped house! We loved gathering there with our extended family and dogs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had nice equipment (not junk) that was easy to cook on. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and felt at home in Sara's beautiful place. The house is very remote and perfect for those looking for a private getaway. And we are very thankful for Sara's hospitality. She was incredibly responsive and kind.

The cabin was a perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway, only 20 minutes from snowshoe. Nice walking trails on the property that our dogs were able to enjoy. The hot tub was very nice to relax in after a day of skiing. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend!

Stacy was very responsive. Her cabins are located near the best restaurant Forks! The sauna located inside the bathroom was enjoyable after a day of skiiing!

The place was beautiful, being able to hear the creek/river from the airbnb while sitting on the back porch was amazing!! Very cute and cozy place for a vacation. Didn’t have any issues with bugs!

This cabin was everything that we could have wanted and more! The place itself was beautiful and was stocked with everything that we needed from kitchen amenities to extra towels/blankets, etc. The view was unbeatable and sitting in that hot tub over looking the snowy mountains was a huge highlight. Plenty of space for a group and very comfortable sleeping arrangements. John was great at communicating and had a local host who was also amazing and very responsive, she even helped us get the driveway plowed when we got snowed in! Overall an amazing stay at an amazing cabin, I can’t recommend this place enough. We were here for a ski trip and it was perfect. Snowshoe is about 15-20 minutes away which made the mornings and drives home very nice. There was a gas station on the way and a dollar general as well that had any extra snacks/groceries/drinks that we needed. There is also a Ski Barn on the way to the mountain, so all of our friends who needed to rent were able to do so easily.

Victoria was awesome! She quickly responded whenever we had a question and her place was exactly as described. We would definitely go back!

If your looking for tranquility, this is the place. Sitting by the fire, listening to the river, provides the peacefulness you are looking for. The host was quick to respond and the listing is as described. Our family enjoyed the private location and time spent together.

This quaint cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. Into the woods and away from chaos, we had an anazing time here. Sheree is a wonderful host and has equipped the cabin with everything one might need. She was super responsive and flexible with checkin and checkouts. All her recommendations were amazing. No complaints at all with the stay and will defintely come back

Such a beautiful view!! The sunset views are just breathtaking on the deck. The house was very nice as well. It was minimalist and uncluttered but with a homey feel which is a nice touch when staying at an Airbnb. As others have mentioned definitely take supplies with you to have meals as the nearest town is about 45 mins away and has limited eating. A perfect place to just relax and unwind without the busyness of life or people. If you’re debating…go for it!! You will not regret staying here!🤩 Penny was great at responding very quickly and answered any questions or concerns I had. I would be cautious taking a car that set lower to the ground as the driveway is all gravel with pretty steep inclines. I have a medium size SUV and had no issues but with a lower sedan I’d be careful. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Hope to visit again in the fall to see that view with the leaves changing. 😍
