The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! (2xAdults & 2xKids under 12)

Rose Cottage@Sunlawns

Rustic but comfortable, stand-alone studio unit. En-suite bathroom(shower only). Electric blankets on beds .Small kitchenette with bar fridge, micro-wave, kettle and small washing up facilities. NO cooking facilities. NO smoking area. Only 500 meters away from The Big Red Barn Cycling Centre, the Clay Cafe, Ludwigs Roses and Sunherbs Nursery. Two restaurants in these precincts open from 08am-5pm, (closed tuesdays), 5 or 10 minutes drive away from Midstream, Southdowns, Irene and Irene Mall.

Experience the advantage of having easy and close access to highways, Gautrain station and several coffee shops/restaurants whilst staying in a quiet secure area full of mature trees and greenery. The Irene Link shopping centre is a mere 2km away whilst the famous Irene Dairy Farm which was established in 1906 is less than a 10 minute walk away.

Elandsfontein Farm : Plane Tree Cottage

Charming country stay on Elandsfontein, away from the crowds but less than 45 minutes’ drive from either Pretoria or Johannesburg! The farm Elandsfontein has been in the family for six generations. Both our charming cottages are situated in the leafy gardens of the 140-year-old homestead, yet you can enjoy complete privacy. So, if you need peace and quiet to revitalise in true country style, surrounded by the activities, sounds and smells of a working farm, this is the right place for you!

Settle in at this unique space - a private space to fully unwind and let creativity unfold among a welcoming community. It is a private loft guesthouse at a shared creative farm. The loft offers one queen size bed, an open kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, all cooking utilities. There is a comfortable seating area, a large desk, cupboards, books, and yoga mats. The double bed is comfortable and cozy. It is very spacious and bright with large windows and blockout curtains for privacy.

The Huna River House is a two bedroom home next to the Magalies River. It has a private woodfire hot tub, large windows, balcony and big sliding doors that open out onto the countryside. The house was built using reclaimed materials, with beautiful wooden floors and industrial windows. The house is a quiet get-away with en-suite bedrooms, large baths and a wood-burning fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen and the covered verandah are well suited to providing dining experiences.

Our lifestyle farm nestles in the unspoilt Naauwpoort valley. Puschka House is wonderful for families ( kids and dogs included!) . Because of its size it is not ideal as a romantic getaway for a single couple. It has DSTV with a fireplace for winter and outside a plunge pool and braai (barbeque) area . there are great walks and the bird life is prolific. Come to Puschka Farm and enjoy the comfy beds, the spacious areas, the views, the solitude and the bush atmosphere .
