Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Please note: this is a smoke free ( including marijuana) , pet free and no children allowed. Please respect our home. If you must smoke, please do so outside and away from the door and bring a butt can with you. I always offer discount stays on my excellent guest at any of my stays

Mountain Lake Escape

This is a mother in law suite that is located right at the foot of Lookout Mountain and just in front of Weiss Lake. Here you are less than a mile from a public boat access. Minutes away from Cherokee Rock Village, Little River Canyon, Little River, Coosa River, and Neely Henry Lake. The suite sets just above our attached garage that you will have a parking space in to keep you out of the weather. It has its own door and is separate from the main house.

The guest house is your lake cottage home away from home. The house is directly on the water with access to dock your boat outside with ample bumpers at the boathouse on property. The location is right around the corner from City Park for loading and unloading and Goosepond Colony. This studio apartment is full of life inside and out. The grand piano is there just for all the practice you want to do. Then, stroll up the hillside and take in the view.
