Cheeky Emu Spacious Family Accommodation Halls Gap

Tucked quietly away behind the Halls Gap main street, your stay at Cheeky Emu will provide the luxuries of home in an amazing mountain setting. you'll want for nothing as entertainment and comfort have been carefully considered. Small but comfy the accommodation is a self contained backyard bungalow. It has a kitchenette, separate shower ensuite and private bbq deck. Our guests value a comfy bed, a hot shower, the ability to cook their own meals and a place to relax in a private outdoor space . *The backyard is shared with our small friendly dog Toby. * 20 minutes drive to Halls Gap and the Grampians * 10 minutes to Great Western's wineries. *10 minute walk to the Stawell Gift, shops and bus/train station.

Handcrafted Shack, Halls Gap, Grampians (Gariwerd)

Wander through the trees to our handcrafted Shack, lovingly built from recycled materials, with breathtaking panoramic views over our regenerative farm to the mountains beyond. Inside snuggle by the wood heater, outside relax on a hand hewn red gum deck with built-in bath, outdoor shower. The outhouse provides views across the wetlands and its wildlife! Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

Redgum Log Cottage

With stunning mountain views, kangaroos grazing at your doorstep and a roaring open log fire, the Redgum Cottage creates a space to step back from the hectic pace of modern life. The cottage offers you 60 acres of beautiful native bushland as your own secluded getaway. A place to unwind and reconnect with life’s simple pleasures, exquisite sunrises, glorious sunsets and some well-earned downtime all set at the foot of the Grampians National Park.

Swampgum Rise Halls Gap

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located house. Swampgum Rise is suitable for singles, couples, families and groups. It is convenient to Halls Gap village restaurants and bars as well as close to many of the hiking trails. The house is showing its age a little (built in late 1970s), but it is cosy and homely. Special discount applies for more-than-one-nighters.

Our very unique and slightly quirky accommodation is based in a beautiful private country setting in Great Western, a short 45- minute drive from the foothills of the Grampians. Originally a shipping container, it has been repurposed with a range of up-cycled and preloved items curated with care. It is set in a quiet little pocket surrounded by native bushland with an abundance of native fauna.

Our beautiful accommodation is for couples that like privacy and something special. The Lodge is fully self contained and every little detail has been thought of. This accommodation is new to us, but a beautiful addition to our Lodges Accommodation in Halls Gap. The place also offers Free Wifi and Netflix. A slow combustion wood heater is perfect for those special cosy nights.
