Hello dear visitors! We are a team of two passionate travellers (Ieva and Nicolas) who settled down on a faraway fjord in Iceland and are excited to meet you here. We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. Our little cozy studio is a result of our own imagination, we created it ourselves with lots of love and personal touch. Looking forward meeting you here and sharing our tips on discovering beautiful East.

Birkifell winter cabin

A small and cozy cabin in the quiet of the countryside, just under a mountain with a beautiful glacier as it's neighbor. With two bedrooms, one double bed and two single beds, dining and sitting area, with t.v and free wifi, well equipt kitchen. Large patio with outdoor furniture and bbq. Ideal for a quiet holiday in the countryside with beautiful hiking grounds, a geothermal hot tubs a short walk away and nature all around, and spectacular view of the northen lights during winter.

3 BR house with magical garden and sunroom in Höfn

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful house near Höfn. Drink coffee in the magical garden or enjoy a nice dinner in the sunroom. This beautiful homey house is a sanctuary while you enjoy the wonders of Hornafjörður. We call it Fagranes or Beauty point and the garden is a true beauty. We encourage our guests to explore the garden, smell the flowers and and find the berries when in season. The garden is beautiful during every season. Our house is perfect for families.

Báran, Studio by the sea

By the sea and scrapyard of Seyðisfjörður we offer our newly renovated studio space with a great view over the fjord, but still just a 8 min walk to the town center. It offers a king size bed and a single lounge bed with a pure icelandic wool mattress in the living area for a third person if needed. It is simple, lovely and unique. Note that we live in the other part of the house so even though the studio is private with private entrance a family lives in the other part of it.

East Fjord House

This is not just a place to stay – it's a chance to truly experience Iceland in its purest form. Our home is surrounded by nature, away from the noise of daily life. The view changes with the seasons – from northern lights in winter to golden sunsets and green meadows in summer. The house blends modern comfort with Icelandic charm. Curry House Apartment

Welcome to our cozy studio loft on the first floor, offering breathtaking views of the fjord and the quaint town below. The sleeping area, situated upstairs and accessible via a bit narrow, winding stairs, features three comfortable beds separated by curtains for added privacy. The well-equipped kitchen providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our space perfectly blends modern amenities with retro charm, ensuring a delightful experience.

Peaceful cottage blue in the countryside.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Beautiful Cottage at Kaldá Lyngholt 2

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Cozy apartment in the center of east Iceland

My place is close to the airport, family-friendly activities, the swimming pool and restaurants. Close to everything the east has to offer. You’ll love my place because of the location, its close to everything you'll need. It is recently renovated so you will feel at home. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). The address is Midgardur 6, apartment number 102.

My beloved tiny Home

My beloved tiny home is a modern and cosy studio space. It has floor heating, Philips Smart TV and a kitchen. The kitchen has a JURA coffee machine, a refrigerator, full size stove and a dishwasher. The studio is 33m2 and has one bedroom with one double bed (160cm) and one single bed (90cm). The space is 33m2 & has a private: entrance, kitchen bathroom and living room.

The apartment includes: 1 bedrooms with queen size double beds(beds for 2 persons) 1 bedroom with twin beds(beds for 2 peraons) 1 sofa bed with a mattress in the living room Total of 5 persons fit this apartment. 1 bathroom with a walk in shower. Fully equipped kitchen and dining table for 5 persons. The apartment is not shared with anyone else. .

Hólshýsi - Hóls Cottage.

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.
