Tammy was extremely helpful and personable before, during, and after our trip. The house accommodated our group of 6 perfectly, and we will be back over the summer to be able to take better advantage of the bayou access.

This home was everything we hoped for and more. Extremely clean, very comfortable and homey - lots of books, which were super fun to peruse. Fresh flowers on the table and a personal note greeted us when we arrived. Communication with hosts was clear and easy. Well hope to stay here again next time we're in the area!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this historic gem! The home, built in 1910, exudes charm and character, which made our visit feel extra special. While it maintains its historic vibe, the kitchen is beautifully modern, spotless, and fully updated—a seamless blend of old and new. The bed was incredibly comfortable, too. The host was beyond accommodating, truly going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His friendly demeanor made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The location couldn’t be better—close to LSU’s campus, historic downtown Baton Rouge, and the river. It was the ideal base for visiting family and attending an LSU game. I was in town for an event at the Raisin Cane’s River Center and the location was the perfect driving distance. There were many restaurants and coffee shops close by that were awesome!

The house was stunning and spacious! I wish I could have been able to hang my clothes up in the closet in the master bedroom instead of the other guest room but it all worked out. We would definitely stay here again! Everything was super clean, received plenty of communication on the home and surroundings. The area was super nice and easy to navigate. Extremely relaxing and felt at home! 💗

Cute house! Flexible host! We were trying to book a house we could use for Christmas since my daughter-in-law is due in January and couldn’t travel. This house had plenty of room and space for dogs. In the end our plans changed and the dogs didn’t come, but great back yard and lower family area. Kitchen and bathrooms are nicely remodeled and modern. Had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

It was so peaceful and quiet i wil def stay again if working in That area. Everything was excellent. Joshua the host was very nice and quick to respond.

My daughter loved reading a book on the balcony and going for a night swim. I loved the quick reply from the host if I had any questions and the convenient location of everything. This place is definitely a 1-stop shop and the home has everything you need, so there was no need to go the store for anything once we arrived. Also, I accidentally left some belongings and the Host notified me before I was even out of the area. Very accommodating and appreciative! 10/10 definitely recommend!!!

This was truly an incredible stay! Katherine was super responsive, clear, and helpful with the home itself, along with local sights and recommendations. This was a fantastic, quiet, lovely escape from the buzz of New Orleans, and only about one hour and forty minutes away. The photos, all the listed amenities, were very accurate, and honestly, was more lovely once we arrived! Perfect for a long, relaxing weekend, but still close enough to Lafayette for plenty of restaurants, bars, crafts stores, etc. We will definitely be coming back :)
