Libby was an incredible host who made this the very best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. And we’ve been to several over the years in the US and Europe. The house is centrally located and easy to find yet peaceful beautifully landscaped. It was quite thoughtfully furnished and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk through the front door, especially with the lovely welcoming note tucked into a crate of family-sized yummy snacks greeting you the minute you walk in. It’s truly a cook’s kitchen with excellent pots & pans, utensils, a plethora of small appliances and hard working major appliances. Lots of nice dishes, glasses and serveware were put to good use. We even made the icing and decorated my daughter’s wedding cake there with everything we needed (besides an offset spatula and turntable we brought!) The extra large dining room easily accommodated our extended family meals and we enjoyed the dock, canoe and floats. Truly a wonderful place!! Book it and enjoy!

During the aftermath of Hurricane Helene we needed a place that would be a good base of operations where we _could_ get up to Asheville or Hendersonville and it was a really great refuge. Thank you Sabrina and Mike!

My husband and I stayed at Allison's beautiful home for my birthday. The house was amazing and fully stocked with everything we needed and then some. The yard was beautiful. The dock and the boat ramp made it extremely nice and relaxing. We absolutely loved our stay. We cannot wait to come back. Everything was wonderful and Allison was very gracious and quick to respond to my correspondence. Definitely a gem!

This home has lots of character and charm! The hosts were responsive when I had questions. I loved the backyard overlooking the lake. Quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway.

Place was just what we were looking for and allowed us to explore the area

The only thing that I would have as an issue was we used the gas grill. A better Maintenace program on this would be helpful. There was a lot of left over residual in the pan underneath that caught fire and could have been an issue being right next to the porch deck. So two things any Airbnb should make this part of the routine maintenance. As a Guest I will certainly be much more aware of this the next time I use a grill. It is fabulous place. I had 6 customers over for a dinner last night before golf tournament today. Super comfortable and beautiful on the porch. I would certainly love to stay there again in the future!

A great weekend stay. Alice was accommodating, answered my question within an hour, and friendly. Kitchen was well equipped and the check-out instructions were easy. The view of the lake is beautifully panoramic. Will come back!

Ryan was an amazing host and our party of 11 (four adults, seven kids) had more than enough space in his squeaky-clean house! The two couches downstairs had pull-out beds which gave a place for everyone to sleep. The amenities that this place has were second-to-none! Huge TV’s, indoor/outdoor dining spots, propane grill, fire pit, plenty of outdoor chairs, multiple kayaks, paddleboard, and a floating pad - we used them all and had a fantastic time! They even set us up to rent their boat on Lake Bowen which was a fantastic experience as well because of the convenience of being right there on their dock! The boat pulled the tube and water skis very well and it definitely added a lot to our experience on the lake! This house was a perfect find for us and we hope to be back again soon!

Daniels place was very nice and as described, we had everything we needed , any questions we had she would answer right away , I would definitely stay here again.

Tammy’s place was amazing! Probably the cleanest AirB&B I have resided in. Pictures don’t do the place justice! I would say you have to experience it to understand! The hospitality was off the charts and we even had welcoming snacks waiting on us when when we arrive even though we arrived late. It’s a great getaway that allows you to decompress from daily living. I would recommend this place to everyone! The only complaint that I had was that there was a South Carolina flag at the entrance but don’t worry I will bring a Georgia one the next time I stay! It’s a 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to come back!

Tamara’s place was a perfect retreat for my daughter to get away from her dorm.

The photos really do this place no justice, WE LOVED IT, amazing is truly an understatement From the kitchen to the bathroom to the bed plus the cozy living room view of the lake which is truly beautiful!! Jaci's place is worth every penny, even gave firewood to sit by the lake!

This is the second trip we have made to this location over the last couple years. The location right on Lake Bowen and the large screened porch make for a very peaceful and relaxing vacation! Very well maintained and owner is super helpful with instructions and helpful tips.

The cabin is beautiful and peaceful which is what our family was looking for. We enjoyed all of the amenities, and the kindness Michelle showed our family. It was clean and offered everything you needed to cook and enjoy your surroundings, even a BBQ and smoker. The beds were comfortable, and linens were good quality. Lots of extra towels if necessary. Thank you, Michelle. We enjoyed your lovely cabin in the woods.

If you want a peaceful, private place, this is it. The lake is beautiful, the setting wonderful. We loved it. Our son lives a few miles away so it was convenient. A large public park is right across the road with a variety of impressive playgrounds, walking paths, ball parks and more. We were there a lot with our great grandsons. There was a bit of confusion when we first tried to find it because there are 2 driveways with the same lot number. After the initial panic we found it and it was exactly as described. We hope to be back once or twice a year. This will be our number one choice from now on. Thank you for everything.

This was my second visit to Marthas and once again it did not disappoint. This time we decided to book specifically for a father son fishing trip. We had a blast caught plenty bass blue gill and some catfish. I normally never catch any bass but they were pumping on my hook all weekend. Martha is always helpful very responsive and so polite she always leaves a little snack in kitchen when you enter. The furniture is cozy and very comfortable the setting is relaxing and beautiful view. The neighbors are polite great restaurants nearby and easy to drive to with many grocery stores close by the locals are so friendly and welcoming.
